On Monday mornings, the grocery store nearest me tosses their week old
Johnsonville products.
Cats love them.
Holistic treatment for anxiety09 Oct 2007 17:49 GMT2
I was just watching "The Dog Whisperer" and Caesar transformed a dog
with anxiety and total fear of everything by using his pack, and
also acupunture.  Anyone with experience with this?  Caesar's ideal
is to try holistic approaches unless it immediately doesn't provide

advantage or frontline09 Oct 2007 14:59 GMT5
I just used advantage or frontline one of the 2, on my cat today, and the
fleas are falling off of her 1/2 dead.
They are not jumping away like they used to.
Can I give her a bath too,(Don't think shell like it) or will that affect
how do you scoop Feline Pine?09 Oct 2007 14:49 GMT1
I ran out of WBCL and went to the crappy supermarket in my neighborhood on
Sunday to pick up some litter (they don't carry WBCL).  Their selection was
awful, mostly old fashioned, non-clumping clay litter.  They did have Feline
Pine Original so I bought that.
CAT KEEPING US AWAKE AT NIGHT!08 Oct 2007 20:57 GMT4
We had to put one of our cats to sleep last March.  Soon after that,
our cat would be meowing/yelping during the night.  We thought
perhaps, that she was looking for our other cat.  Both cats are 7
years of age.  Maybe she was picking up the sent.  Well, after all of

Cat-proofing for the holidays08 Oct 2007 17:15 GMT6
Our relatively new (7 month old) cat is still somewhat feisty. Outside she
is a tree climber, inside she likes to get up on counters and explore when
we are not around to supervise, which means of course that things get pulled
off, including having broken three flower vases. In ...
Cat anal glands08 Oct 2007 03:02 GMT5
I had Nacho at the vet for treatment of an impacted anal gland. While the
tech was prepping him for treatment, he squeezed off a load from the
opposite gland. The texture of the secretion was a firm, pasty material,
dark brown in color. What causes this variation in texture and ...

Blacklights, and way too much info..07 Oct 2007 22:02 GMT4
Ok, here's pretty much everything you'd ever want to know about blacklights,
or blacklights to be used for sniffing out cat urine stains. I can't guarantee
any of this material, or the sources, I've just tried to get some idea of what
may work best for stain spotting. And one ...
bringing home dead things....07 Oct 2007 13:15 GMT11
Has anyone had any success at getting their kitty to stop bringing
home the bacon?  or in my case the chipmunks?  I know it's a trophy
thing, but really---baby chipmunks are too cute to be found on my
doormat everyday.  Suggestions?
Advantage07 Oct 2007 02:43 GMT4
Yesterday morning, I put some expensive Advantage flea material from a
tiny tube on the back of my cats neck as directed and he got sick.  He
seems to be able to get his foot up there, scratch it off, and lick
it.  He was extremely sluggish yesterday evening, he threw up, and
Cat licking fur off, vet gave clean bill of health06 Oct 2007 04:41 GMT7
I have a cat who is just over a year old who is licking the fur off near
his tail.  I took him to the vet and he got a perfectly clean bill of
health (no fleas, worms, illness of any sort) and said to just give him
lots of attention!  I'm doing that and he is still licking off ...
I need your sagely advice and wisdom again, people.  Declaw or not declaw, that is my question.06 Oct 2007 03:24 GMT126
After talking with my friend at the animal hospital for the
thousandth time today, they started mentioning some other things that
I should have done before officially calling Gabby "good to go."
1.  Get her spayed - of course, this is already planned.
