Walmart is selling cats!31 Oct 2007 20:04 GMT4
Don't get upset - they are not live cats.  They are full size, pure
white and are very realistic.  They open their mouths to meow, purr,
move their heads and roll their eyes.  I don't think they eat or use the
litter box.  I was tempted but they are $40.

Behavior issue after spay31 Oct 2007 17:53 GMT12
Hello.  I recently took my cat to an animal hospital and got her shots
& spayed.  After the surgery, she has had an issue with peeing outside
the litter box.  She still goes in the litter most of the time.  Is it
possible that the issue is related to the surgery?  Any help

It's really absurd. The cats kill the mice and rats that attract bird,
and kill the birds themselves. You would think that they would want
more cats.

What is your purpose in life? What is the rationale behind our life?
Why do we live in this life? These questions frequently intrigue
people who try to find accurate answers.
People provide different answers to these questions. Some people
Fireman saves cat by giving mouth to mouth CPR30 Oct 2007 18:21 GMT1
Saw this on the news this morning, a fireman in Pennsylvania saved a
cat who was suffering from smoke inhalation by rubbing its belly and
giving it mouth to mouth CPR.   A big thanks to the fireman, I have
never seen that done to an animal before.

Problems with cat (fleas)30 Oct 2007 13:21 GMT2
New to the group, hope someone can offer help...
In short, I'm a landlady, and I have a tenant living in the basement
of my house. He has an indoor-outdoor cat that he lets out during the
night. I know this isn't a good thing to do, but I can't interfere...
End of my cat pee-pee rope!30 Oct 2007 03:28 GMT22
Most of you know me from me posting here over the last - who knows how
many years.  I don't give up easily and I don't advocate drastic
measures.  But I am at the end of my rope with Mimi.
Mimi is my tortie I have had since she was 7 weeks, and she's 17.5
Baby Cat30 Oct 2007 00:23 GMT16
I have a little female kitten, she is about 6 months old.
I am wondering if you think she will grow out of this.
The problem is, any time I go downstairs or out side to work on something,
she constantly carries on crying for me to come back in.
protrusion of third eyelid29 Oct 2007 02:10 GMT6
I'm looking for some input on a problem I'm having with my cat. Yesterday I
noticed my cat's eyes looked a little funny - the third eyelid on both eyes
was visible. Since it was the weekend I couldn't see my regular vet so I took
him to the emergency clinic and the vet there said ...
CHEWABLE FLAVORED TAPEZOLE (HYPERTHYROID PILLS)29 Oct 2007 00:51 GMT1
I want to tell everyone who's concerned with pilling their cats for
hyperthyroid treatment that some vets will special order a CHEWABLE,
FLAVORED (Tuna, Liver, etc) Tapezole pill for cats.
I give my cat her pills twice a day and she thinks they're treats!
How to....outdoor to indoor27 Oct 2007 10:09 GMT16
I took in a huge stray male cat almost 2 years ago.  He was hanging around
my barn for about 2 years before I befriended him and he adopted me.  I've
always had inside cats.  This one goes out.  I'm a worrier (about my
animals).  I worry as soon as I lose sight of him.  Is it ...
