Tatum is gone now too!!09 Sep 2007 20:15 GMT17
I learned upon my return from a road trip today that Tatum had become
deceased while I was out. Unfortunately, this appears to have been my doing.
When I arrived back at home terminal and was post trip inspecting the truck,
I found Tatum embedded deeply in the grille and ...
Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) treatment??09 Sep 2007 06:46 GMT16
My cat seems to have flutd. Howell says to acidify the urine, give the
cat ammonium chloride. Anyone have any ideas on how to use that? I
imagine I could add it to the drinking water. The taste might put him
off though. Adding it to fish might be better, as messing with his
cat has dandruff and oily fur at the same time??08 Sep 2007 16:54 GMT7
Hello everyone - I have a cat with fairly long hair.  I have to comb
her frequently to get the knots out of her fur, especially on her
back. I have had to take her to the vet to have her shaved twice, when
the fur became so matted I feared I was going to rip her skin right

Duffy scared me08 Sep 2007 09:30 GMT13
Duffy gave me a real fright this evening.  This was one of the few times
when his blindness really "showed."  I was sitting in a lounge chair
watching TV, and I happened to be holding the remove control upright in my
hand.  Suddenly, Duffy leaped toward the arm of the chair (as ...
Bonnie's vet visit08 Sep 2007 00:28 GMT3
I used the technique that I knew would work for today, getting her
in my bedroom, shut the door and remove the mattress and box
spring from my bed so she couldn't hide. Quick and painless. She
had the worst "Oh sh.t!" look on her face when I pulled off the
NEED ADVICE PLEASE07 Sep 2007 22:00 GMT1
I am considering moving into a room share situation.  I have two
medium sized cats.  One has been around dogs and is fine and the other
is a question mark.  The house I'm looking at has a 4 and 1/2 month
old Rottweiler Terrier mix.  The owner is training him well but I am
Bonnie's annual on Friday07 Sep 2007 21:32 GMT13
Have to find another creative way to catch this cat to get her in
for her yearly. This is the only opportunity for her claws to be
trimmed,  to be weighed, to be checked over thoroughly, etc. Plus
she gets her behind shaved because she's chubby. It's also rabies
Varying Vets07 Sep 2007 20:31 GMT2
Couplea weeks ago, took Meep in for shots, and spoke to the vet about
the fur-mowing she's doing on her abdomen, down between her hind legs.
The vet was of the opinion that this may be caused by discomfort from
her cystitis, but there's no more maintenance changes to be made ...
Outdoor enclosures?07 Sep 2007 14:48 GMT11
Good morning.
I would appreciate any resources that folks here can share regarding outdoor
cat enclosures. I am interested in manufactured enclosures, and especially
interested in plans or ideas for building one myself.
Separation anxiety???07 Sep 2007 10:46 GMT10
My spoiled baby Hercules has the worst case of separation
anxiety I have ever seen.  He is not distructive in an way, but he
cries and yowls from the depths of his soul when he does not have
total access to me.  He does not need to be in my lap, he just needs

When can we expect Mr MC Gregor to come home? If I am this excited, I hate to
think what you must feel like, LOl?!!  His very name brings up childhood
memories of Peter Rabbit trying to scarper away from Mr MC Gregor with his
precious hoe in hand & one very fat groaning bunny, who ...
