How's Sammy?31 Jul 2007 22:04 GMT1
Forgive me if this is repetitious, but I think I checked all the threads for
an update and didn't see anything.

This is the full video of "da boyz".  It is about 29Mb, so it will take a
while to download.

The neighbors' cat31 Jul 2007 21:46 GMT5
I'm such a terrible cat mom!  I want to kidnap the neighbors' cat,
though Meep would certainly protest!
They have this small, beautiful, and fearless grey tabby cat.  She
thinks our property is hers, and can often be found sunning herself on
Are intact male cats stronger?31 Jul 2007 17:43 GMT3
My last cat was a pre-neutered male (and a marvelous pet). Recently
I've come into contact with unneutered stray males and their bodies
are hard (as in very strong). I realize being in the
not-so-great-outdoors has something to do with it.

I never cut them to close & never hurt her.
But now when she see's me pick up the clippers, she hisses & runs.

newly diagnosed diabetic cat31 Jul 2007 04:15 GMT6
A friend of mine has a female cat who is around 14 years old and was
recently diagnosed with diabetes.  He & his wife had another female, much
younger, who was diagnosed several years ago and passed away soon after.
They could never get her regulated, she was constantly being ...
It didn't work out!  :<30 Jul 2007 17:05 GMT21
I've been talking with the owner of the rescue group I got Tayla from since
Monday.  She hasn't been able to come up with anything either and I think we
both came to the agreement that Tayla has to be an "only cat".  Tayla will
be going back to the fosterer's house Thursday night ...
Tiger's mats are gone30 Jul 2007 14:54 GMT1
After slowly breaking up the mats on Tiger's hips I have been very
diligent about brushing (with the Zoom Groom) and combing several times
a day.  Luckily he likes this.  So far there has been no signs of new
mats.  I really wanted to avoid a trip to TED for sedating and shaving
Organic food.30 Jul 2007 13:23 GMT6
Organic foods are produced according to certain production standards.
For crops, it means they were grown without the use of conventional
pesticides, artificial fertilizers, human waste, or sewage sludge, and
that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food
Sammy Update29 Jul 2007 22:57 GMT11
The vet, last night, said she was still running a slight temperature and her
breathing and heart rate were up.  She lost an additional .20 pounds in just
two day since the last vet visit (again, *WAY* too much for a cat to be
losing), but she wasn't severely dehydrated as I ...
Kittens, The Comedy29 Jul 2007 20:13 GMT5
Today is wash day at the Crews' home.  Before I wash I separate all the
dirty clothes into piles on my kitchen floor.  I needed to wash a comforter
and that was in a pile all by itself since it is a large, king-sized spread
which will be a load all by itself.

Feline Cycles29 Jul 2007 13:40 GMT20
My cat is almost a year old (born Septemer). She must had some puberty
by now but nothing too discomfiting. What I want to know is, do heat
cycles occur regularly, annually, predictably, or what? (What I REALLY
want to  know is can I avoid the extortionistic expense of spaying and
Oscar The 13 1/2 Yr Old Maine Coon Cat29 Jul 2007 03:18 GMT3
Has got allergies just like a human being gets a runny eye once in awhile.
Clear liquid, once pink, once clear and grey.
...Anything short of going to the vet that I may use (other than wiping it
off with my finger).
