Will a dog whistle affect a cat?11 Jun 2007 11:37 GMT4
Neighbor across the street often ties up his two little yappy dogs and
one large dog on his front porch.  ANYTHING will set these guys off
barking, which doesn't seem to bother said neighbor.  I have thoughts
of getting one of those silent dog whistles to see if it might make
kitten peeing problem10 Jun 2007 17:27 GMT13
I am having an issue with my new kitten.  She has access to her litter box,
and knows where it is, but she will occasionally pee on the tile floor in
front on my door.  I will break out the squirt bottle and then take her to
the litter box, but it doesn't seem to help.  It has been ...
Keeping dog out of litterbox10 Jun 2007 16:58 GMT2
We recently moved our cat's litterbox to the guest bathroom and put a
gate up for him to jump over. He has never had a problem doing this
when his litterbox was in either of the 2 guest rooms, but one guest
room is soon to be the baby's room and the other for guests to stay
My cat had an accident - I'm sick with worry!10 Jun 2007 06:37 GMT207
I live on the third floor of an apartment block and yesterday I didn't
close one of the windows properly. Next thing I realise that I hadn't
seen puss in a while so I went looking for her when I noticed she had
pushed it open and jumped out onto concrete. I ran down and managed to
Most behavior problems are easier to correct10 Jun 2007 01:19 GMT1
If you're like me, you love your cat, but sometimes their behaviors
can be very upsetting.  It doesn't have to be that way.  You can have
a much more rewarding life with your cats if you only learn a few
secrets on cat behavior.
Does anyone know the background for this photo?09 Jun 2007 22:15 GMT2
I've seen this a number of times on the web, but never heard the
backstory. This little kitty seems to be defending itself pretty
succesfully from the dog, but I worry about whether everything turned
out okay.

The longtime animal crusader opted to sign off just as he did for
years: "Help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or
neutered. Goodbye, everybody."

follow-up to teeth cleaning topic09 Jun 2007 02:03 GMT2
I had posted my concerns about my cat getting its teeth cleaned because of
other pets dying during it.  We discussed what questions should be asked,
precautions to be taken, pre-tests, types of anaethetics.
I found this site that talks in detail and step by step what is done.  I'd ...

come back to live with me after a few years of living with my Mother

(she had another cat also) and so he got VERY fat. He's a very large
