Frontline better than Sergeants?18 Jun 2007 12:48 GMT6
I still have some left over Sergeants anti-flea products and I would like to
know if it is as sufficent defense as Frontline.
Thanks,
David Lee
Bladder Infection - still17 Jun 2007 23:34 GMT8
Monday I took the kitty to the vet for a bladder infection with
blood.  Seemed to improve for a few days and then started sliding
backwards again.  Wasn't eating, wasn't acting like he normally does,
etc.  Not going to the litter every 15 minutes like he was on Monday -
Reintegrating cats17 Jun 2007 23:14 GMT3
We've got two five-year-old cats, full siblings from the same litter,
who have never lived apart... until the last few weeks.
The female came in one day with a broken leg (no other sign of injury --
we reckon she probably jumped short and fell out of a tree) and had to
Cause of cats "coughing"?17 Jun 2007 21:18 GMT8
Suddenly, just as this summer is beginning, my two three-year-old cats
have occasionally been "coughing".
It starts with one "cough", then the cat quickly crouches so that its
body is sort of close to and parallel with the floor, and then the
Naming  & Shaming those who abuse cats17 Jun 2007 08:46 GMT17
Reading this article seems all too common & sad as well. If only
everyone who abused cats were  subject to international scrutiny,
perhaps they would think twice before doing this terrible act. It is
beyond my comprehension as to why anyone would feel the need to
Yet another litterbox Issue17 Jun 2007 06:25 GMT4
My 2 babies are using their litterboxes to urinate but everything else
they are doing on the floor of a utility closet.
I am looking for suggestions as to what to do. I am puzzled because
they will use the boxes for one thing but not another.
Allergies?16 Jun 2007 13:54 GMT1
Can an allergic reaction to something affect only one eye in a cat?  I
know that with my "allergy eyes" my left eye's more affected than the
right...
Why I ask is, Meep occasionally gets a watery eye. Just extra tears,
Help--Stomatitis16 Jun 2007 10:03 GMT13
I had a preganant stray show up a few months ago.  She had her kittens
and I took her and the three kittens in to be fixed.  I hoped to adopt
them out and have already started making arrangements with a local
rescue group.

my cat and my nose16 Jun 2007 01:39 GMT6
my 10-week old cat Jacob likes to play in my lap. He attacks my hand and
playfully bites my hand without breaking the skin. Sometimes after this, he
was facing me as I sat in the recliner and ne attacked my face, swatting at
my eyes playfully, I told him no. Moments later he ...

Questions about window perch15 Jun 2007 02:53 GMT11
I recently purchased a window perch for my cats, after looking at the
instructions, I'm wondering if it's a piece of junk.
The perch is attached to the window sill with an adhesive velcro
strip. There are two legs that are attached to the perch that add
Cold feet15 Jun 2007 02:02 GMT5
Anyone have a cat that would warm your feet by sleeping on them?  My
pussy sleeps with me but she either sleeps besides or between my leg.
Rarely does she rest on top of me.  Lucky because even 5 pounds would
be uncomfortable on me.
eye problem14 Jun 2007 16:21 GMT10
Rudy is seeing a veterinary opthamologist next week (who is only in town
every other Wednesday).  I'm anxious to find out what's wrong, and
wondering if any of you have ideas.
Rudy has always "winked" this eye, from the time he was a small kitten.
