buffy the bulimic cat21 Jun 2007 13:16 GMT11
My cat buffy frequently throws up the food she has just eaten, within
20-30 mins of eating.  This leaves a mess, unless my other cat eats it
up, which she is kind enough to do on most occasions.
What I notice with buffy is that she doesn't really chew her food and
Orphans -- Phil? Anybody?21 Jun 2007 06:16 GMT9
I've got two 1-week-old orphans to raise on a bottle. I've done it
many times, and have, so far, not lost any.
But, every single time I've raised orphans, about the time they're 8
weeks & older, the are *extremely* susceptible to URI's. I know the

I wish she would clean her feet first.20 Jun 2007 15:38 GMT1
My pussy heads straight for my bed when she comes in the house.
Trouble is her paws some times still have dirt and sand that tracks on
to the bed.  Some nights I'm kept awake and have to keep trying to
brush the dirt off the bed.  It's uncomfortable having a bit of sand

Eosinophilic keratitis and... birth control pills?20 Jun 2007 01:35 GMT8
My cat Roxy's eye has had some discoloration ever since she had a severe
infection back in February. I took her to the vet several times and
tried lots of different medications. The infection came under control,
but her eye has never gotten back to normal.

Please Pray for Pippy20 Jun 2007 00:00 GMT7
I'm posting here to let everyone know that my cat, Pippy, hasn't been
doing well since Saturday morning. We lost Pippin's brother, Ralphie,
about 9 months ago so we're praying for Pippin to make it through this
unscathed.  You may recognize Pippy from the "Pippy, the begging
Cat's fighting & Peeing19 Jun 2007 21:38 GMT4
I am hoping someone here might be able to help me! I have had 2 cats for
about 4 years now they were purchased one year apart but they have always
gotten along throughout 4 years. One is female and one is male, both spayed
and nutered, and up until a few months ago they were best of ...
Odd cat item for chewing19 Jun 2007 17:48 GMT6
Rhett the giant tabby is a chewer. He's never chewed on anything
like electrical cords or anything; he likes to chew on hard things.
Like plastic things.  Humidifier water containers (he pushes the
whole contraption around the floor chewing on it); air duct

For anyone who uses Fancy Feast, PetFood Direct is currently having a

use the GEICO promotion code for a 20% discount, which more or less wipes
out the shipping charge.
feline schwannoma19 Jun 2007 03:03 GMT7
Dear Friends in Felinity:
After presenting with a swollen paw and marked weight loss (by my own account)
my very shy, 12-year old spay, Tabisha,  has been biopsied and diagnosed with
having a schwannoma.     The vet stated the pathologists report assured it
Feel like I was gypped at the vets - advice wanted19 Jun 2007 01:25 GMT14
I've been going to the same veterinary clinic for several years now.
The other day I took my cats in for their yearly exam. When it was
time to pay, the receptionist told me everything that they had done
(minus the individual cost) and then told me the final cost. I was
followup to "Cats changed Bowel Habits"18 Jun 2007 20:14 GMT8
Earlier this week each of my 12 y/o females had a complete physical.  This
included the hands on checkup as well as blood and urine sample draws.
The Vet advised that both cats were in remarkable condition for their age.
She said that the cats both needed to have their teeth ...
