We're thinking about "Archer" and "Ozzy" for the boys and "Jade" for little
mama but nothing's set in stone yet - we'll have to wait until they pick
their own names before we'll know for sure.
In the meantime suggestions on what to suggest to them are still very
OMG!  It's official...25 Jun 2007 19:06 GMT6
I'm f*cking nuts!!!!!
I went to PetsMart today and walked by the adoption center (Sunsmart).  I
saw a little 1-y-o white w/tabby markings female who had been abandoned,
pregnant and just got finished nursing *SEVEN* kittens (she's no bigger than
LOL!  Tayla25 Jun 2007 15:29 GMT4
I'm too tired to take video of her tonight, but you ought to see Tayla right
now - she's got the "zoomies" and is flying around my office killing every
toy and dust bunny in sight.  I really think I'm right in that she's less
than a year old (if she got thrown out of her home for ...

I just checked my records with Ka' Shays birthday yesterday  it seems that
another Happy times is to be announced.
Rumble has been officially off Insulin for a year and has had his diabetes
under control using a Fancy Feast diet.
Help with clingy, needy cat25 Jun 2007 07:24 GMT23
This is also about my foster cat, Hushpad.
Hushpad's previous owners were a mentally ill woman and her husband who was
hardly ever home.  There were a total of 7 cats in an apartment, which was
in serious disrepair.  The woman was being committed, so the cats were

Kittens have it too25 Jun 2007 00:13 GMT6
URI, that is.
Um, think I should take them back to the shelter and get an exchange for the
defective ones?  <ducking and running>  [Whatever happened to old Phillip,
anyway?]
Canned cat food24 Jun 2007 18:20 GMT7
I understand that one advantage of wet food for cats is that the moisture
in it guarantees that the cat gets plenty of water, which is good for the
urinary system.
I put lots of water in the bowl with the dry food each time I feed my cats,
Kittens Playing, The Movie24 Jun 2007 16:30 GMT4
OK, be prepared for a long download time - I couldn't bear to cut any of it.
The MPEG file is uploaded, the Quicktime movie is *still* uploading.  The

Need some advice24 Jun 2007 16:18 GMT3
Tayla (new momma kitten) has a URI.  It's not too bad, mostly just some
sneezing.  They gave me some medicine to take home with her (liquid and she
was surprisingly easy to dose this morning), and of course she'll see the
vet in the next couple of days.
Nursing Cat with kittens24 Jun 2007 16:18 GMT1
My cat had kittens (5) on 06/19.  My vet told me that she could get pregnant
again right away, while nursing.  Question:  If she conceives again
immediately, will she continue to care for her new kittens? Thankx!

SICK and TIRED of people dumping their animals......24 Jun 2007 01:35 GMT20
I am SICK and tired of cleaning up after people.  I live in NY and
just recently my wife and I went to the catering hall that is hosting
our wedding and noticed a cat eating out of a catering dish.  We asked
the catering manager and he told us that someone dumped him and that
Friend's kitten has repeated abscesses in her head - sinus area?24 Jun 2007 01:10 GMT1
Hi,  I'm trying to help a lady who doesn't have a computer and not a
whole lot of money and has a sick kitten.  This poor kitty (obtained
from a shelter) has, for some reason, had abscesses in her little head
and the vet can't understand why this is happening.  She has now had
my CAT23 Jun 2007 21:59 GMT9
Hello, I have 4 cats and I have 4 vials of medicine that I will give my cats
next month. I need to bathe my cats well in soapy water about half way
between the two applications, isn't this true?
Thanks,
Pounce Treats vomit23 Jun 2007 20:23 GMT14
I have a little tortie named Motley who loves Pounce treats. When we
got her over a year ago she was very shy, wouldn't sit on a lap or
allow anyone to touch her, I softened her up by enticing her onto my
lap with Pounce treats.
