Ping Phil - Need Help with Rescues [Long]30 Jun 2007 22:37 GMT9
OK, where do I start?!  First, does anyone have Phil's email address so I
can also email this to him - I know he gets busy during kitten season and
doesn't always read the group?
Phil, I just adopted 3 cats from a rescue organization that operates out of
Sneezing30 Jun 2007 18:35 GMT10
Stray mother had kittens on my porch back in mid March.  I brought them
inside  10 days later and they have been inside ever since.  (I am
working with a local rescue group that puts them in Petsmart stores for
adoption.)  Mother and three male kittens were recently (2 wks ago)
Vet Results30 Jun 2007 07:54 GMT13
This is going to be a quick update since I just got home from work, then the
vet's, and just finished dosing/scooping/feeding - it's 8PM and I haven't
eaten since lunch (oh the joys of new slave-hood).
Just as I thought, Tayla, Ozzy, and Archer all have URIs.  Tayla's fecal was
coconut safe for dogs & cats?29 Jun 2007 23:27 GMT6
Can dogs and cats eat safely coconut or drink coconut milk?  I haven't been
able to find info on this anywhere & my kitten seems to like it but I want to
be sure it's okay for his health.  THANKS!  :-)
Chronic Renal Failure - Need Homeopathic or Organic Solutions28 Jun 2007 22:17 GMT4
I'm sure this has been discussed before. However, I'm inquiring on
some "natural" things I can do for our 16 year old baby in Renal
Failure. He's vomiting and has lost so much weight. He's a feisty
little guy and the vet doesn't want to do weekly IV therapy because
New Arrivals Update28 Jun 2007 15:11 GMT4
We moved Tayla upstairs into Ben's office last night, both so she wouldn't
be quite so isolated and lonely (my office is an extra room off the garage),
to let her sounds and smells mingle with the "upstairs" cats, Demi and
Jessie, and to give Sammy (who is traumatized by sounds ...
My cats have never been out28 Jun 2007 14:11 GMT131
I have two cats, 4 and 5 years old who have always lived inside in a
flat. Now we have moved to a house with garden and a forest behind and
we were so looking forwards to leave the cats to enjoy.. but I am
scared they panic or get lost or a bigger aninmal attacks them (or
what do you say to your cats?28 Jun 2007 07:18 GMT4
Levi is my sweet little lap cat.  He'll cry for attention if I'm standing
and haven't noticed him, and of course he always gets it (yes, he still
suckles, too).
So I was holding him and petting him and he was rolling around in my lap

Cat suddenly afraid of drinking fountain27 Jun 2007 03:43 GMT1
I felt like spending some money, so I bought a Drinkwell Pet Fountain
the weekend before last.  I washed it and set it up and Cat was very
interested and cautiously investigated it and was soon drinking out of
it contentedly.

OK, little momma is *SUCH* a slut - as soon as you sit down on the floor she
*THROWS* herself on your lap and starts rolling around - she's *SO* not shy
for just being brought to a new home.
And here are also the two little teensies who are stampeding across the
Cat Fights26 Jun 2007 20:46 GMT4
My roommate has two cats.  She adopted what turned out to be a
pregnant stray who gave birth to 5 kittens about 4 weeks ago.
Up until birth the stray and the home cats seemed to tolerate each
other.  Now, the stray stalks and constantly attacks one of the
Organic Cat Food26 Jun 2007 16:24 GMT2
After the huge pet food recall I started looking into Organic Cat Food
vs "regular" cat food. I have two cats and usually have foster cats. I
volunteer at a no-kill cat animal shelter.
It was worse than what I expected with the cat food. Even the top
Got a Vet Appointment!26 Jun 2007 13:33 GMT4
Dr. French will be able to see us at 6PM today.  Tayla, Archer, and Ozzy all
have URIs (Ozzy's is bad, he hacks constantly), they all have diarrhea, they
all have ear mites, and I'm pretty sure they all have several varieties of
parasites.  They probably won't get their ...
