My kitty will beg for anything!10 May 2007 01:56 GMT16
My cat Pippy literally will beg for anything - treats, human food
(cheese, butter, miracle whip...etc), socks.. and the list goes on and
on.
Have you ever seen this before?  It's cute as hell, but a little weird

Hybrid Cat Questions10 May 2007 01:04 GMT2
Last fall, a pregnant cat walked into the building and gave birth.
She was black with the typical yellow eyes and the father was an
unaltered Siamese (I presume) that was also hanging around in my
garden at the proper time.
Laser pointer as cat toy?09 May 2007 16:39 GMT14
Laser pointers to amuse cat? Bah, humbug! Invested in a laser pointer
with a nice bright red dot. Does the cat chase the dot? Of course not.
She just ignores it. Much prefers a toy using piece of stiff wire with a
couple of small white sticks on the end. Stupid cat. <sigh>

Unusually small kitten09 May 2007 03:11 GMT9
We recently had a very pretty young momma cat show up at our home with her 4
young kittens.  Three of the kittens are old enough to eat food on their own
and the mother is trying to wean all of the kittens.
One of the kittens is VERY small, not like a runt, but half the size of ...

One thing that I didn't think about until today, is the fact that we
happen to have quite a few USAF sites around here, as well as
logistics support sites and troops barracks too. On all of the bases
they have a shop of some description (Commissaries?) where they sell

Need recipe for home-cooked cat food08 May 2007 15:01 GMT9
I'm now totally spooked from all the recalls, so I'd like to start
making home-cooked food for my cats. I'm looking for recipes for
supplements to add to cooked meat. The key word here being "cooked".
I know this much: if you're cooking meat for a cat, then they won't
Ping: Sheelagh08 May 2007 14:18 GMT2
This morning, we went to a cat show for the first time in several years.
While we were there, I made a point of checking out the Birmans. I was
totally bowled over by their beauty. I must say that for all the beautiful
pictures of Lilly et al you've shared, the camera (and the ...
