She was separated from her mother at a very young age and never learned to clean herself. How can I teach her this? She is maybe 6 weeks old now. She sometimes uses the litter box, most often the floor.

My cat enjoys going outdoors. I try to keep her in but sometimes she slips out when the door is open or she pushes out a screen. In any case when she goes outside she just takes off walking down the street and is gone for hours. Then, every night around 7pm she is meowing

I have 3 males, all rescues. All are nuetered. Two were blood brothers. They are about 2 years old. And nuetered in 2/07 upon adoption. My third guy is 8yo. I am not sure if his prior parent nuetured him at a young age or not. I have had him since 4/07.
