My 3 year old Female Tortishell cat has a lump on her left breast bone. She is not fixed but she shares the house with 2 fixed males. The mass moves around. It is about an inch in length. I don't know what it is. Does anybody know what it might be?

This is in regards to my brother and SIL's cat, Chloe. She is a four year old spayed female, was in good health. I don't have all the exact test results and such. My main question is whether anyone has done or has heard of doing chemotherapy when cancer is not a definite.
