Cat bites30 Apr 2007 21:43 GMT6
Our 1-year male, neutered cat chews wood & cardboard.  As we walk
through the house, he tries to get our attention by biting at our
ankles.  His form of playing is to nibble & if he's angry he'll bite
then run.
Potassium supplementation30 Apr 2007 21:34 GMT4
I have been supplementing Alex, my CRF kitty, with a prescription
malt-flavored potassium supplement gel from the veterinarian. The price for
one tube of the gel is $27.
My sister, who has also had a CRF kitty in the past, told me that her
Why does my Persian wet her neck?30 Apr 2007 17:27 GMT3
I inherited two Persian cats, brother and sister, and I'm used to
their quirks. I'm used to the red spots on the walls and floors, the
fur everywhere, having to wipe their eyes and the folds beneath them,
the constant grooming, the pre-matting... all of it. But there's one
Conspiracy theory: Cat died Jan 200630 Apr 2007 17:07 GMT5
My cat died suddenly from kidney failure before FDA admitted to a
problem.
I saved his foot hoping someday I could have him cloned.
1) can someone refer me to a cat cloning service
OT, Google better pull-up! will they crash?30 Apr 2007 15:57 GMT23
For about a week now, google is waaay behind on getting peoples posts
into the mix.
As it stands right now.. if you post through google, it's going to be
days before you actually see the post...
another new observation-kitty's are plentiful & no one wants them this year;o(30 Apr 2007 15:21 GMT3
For the last 10 years or so, I have had more clients than kittens. But
this year I decided to bow out because of several reasons which most

recall humor30 Apr 2007 12:55 GMT3
No the recall isn't funny.  It's only luck that (so far) none of Meep's
foods have been recalled.  But it's human nature to laugh at adversity,
in order to deal with it.  Got this from rec.humor.funny today:
"In response to the current problems with contaminated cat food,
Water consumption:  what's normal?30 Apr 2007 12:47 GMT7
I'm trying to figure out if I should be concerned about Meep's water
consumption... for most of her life, she's not drank much, though we
didn't really think much of it (or think it wasn't enough) until her
first cystitis attack.  From then on it was a battle to try to get her

"Cat People" - Are you stereo-typed by some peers.30 Apr 2007 01:44 GMT17
I was watching a movie last night, one of the dialogs was how cat
people are basically introverted.
and, cat people are basically LONELY people.. (before they got their
cats)
Cat tip29 Apr 2007 20:19 GMT7
I'm new to this group, perhaps this has already been mentioned but
thought I would give this tip I have discovered by myself.
I have a very agressive 1-1/2 year old spoiled male cat. We play
constantly and on most occasions, I walk away bleeding and all sctatched to

This is scary... I wonder what happened to this cat to make it behave
this way.

Coloring in cat crunchies29 Apr 2007 19:55 GMT5
I was wondering which dry cat foods available out there are produced
without artificial coloring to the pellets. The dyeing must be to
please the owners because aren't cats color-blind?
My cats when horking up the inevitable hairball, usually expel
Quality Foods?  California Natural?29 Apr 2007 19:40 GMT5
I just started buy this brand and so far, am very please. My cats, Dove and
Gabe' fur seems especially shiny and glossy since they have been eating it,
and* they like it. No kitty has thrown up, which is always a red flag.
This brand initially caught my eye at my vets office months ...
My Cat Funeral29 Apr 2007 16:21 GMT6
I believe my cat was one of the first to die.
At that time there was no information about
the "poisoning".  Everyone thought is was odd,
but nobody would have conceived it was the food.
