My 11 year old Muted-Tortie Point Siamese, Clawdia (female, spayed)
has lost a lot of weight in the last 6 months. She has been to the vet
and they agree that they would like her to gain some weight. She used
to weigh around 9 lbs, Which the vet thought was ideal. She currently

Hi everyone, & thank you so much for the purrs, I think that they are
about the only thing keeping her alive presently.
after phoning the surgery & walking up there to find no one in the
surgery at all, I looked in the phone book for an emergency number but

His sister passed several weeks ago and he really went downhill at
Update on New Female & 2 Existing Boys09 Feb 2007 20:20 GMT1
Quick update - Cate is even sweeter than ever with me but is just
beating on my boys.  Today she clawed Claude in the eye.  I have a
hard time balancing the sweet angel with her hurting my boys.
Sometimes I get the feeling she would be a fantastic only cat.  I need

...but my beautiful rotty is in trouble now.  I just had to tell
somebody about it, and I don't find the dog groups very friendly at
all.  He's 12-1/2 years old now.  He started having heart troubles two
years ago.  He's been on enalapril for that.  Now he's started leaking
Need advice re:cleaning older cat's teeth09 Feb 2007 14:58 GMT10
I haven't posted here in quite a few years.  I have two cats, Sylvester
and Bonnie, ages 17 and 18 - the same two I used to post here about.
I've had them since they were kittens.
My 17 year old, a very large DSH male, is my concern at the moment.
they won't eat canned food09 Feb 2007 14:56 GMT5
Moe & Rudy are healthy indoor cats abt 1 1/2 yrs old,
neutered...they've stopped eating any brand of canned cat food but
still have a good appetite when it comes to dry cat food (it was done
slowly)

Cleaning Used Cat Tower09 Feb 2007 11:49 GMT19
I just received a used cat tower and was wondering if it is truly safe for
my cats? I was told that it would be ok to bleach it before giving it to my
cats. Has anyone else here ever gotten a used tower and safely been able to
allow their cats to use it? I saw that one of the ...
Stomatitis + Azithromycin - Phil?09 Feb 2007 01:54 GMT2
Phil,
regarding my foster cat with stomatitis, I am going to start him on
zithro next week as he is really not doing well (guess the interferon
was a waste of money, but it was worth a try). I remember when I
Cat hissing at her brother08 Feb 2007 23:08 GMT6
My cat hisses at her brother when she comes home from the vet. This is
really odd, because she's the one who smells from the vet, not him! I
even rubbed the two of them with catnip to see if that would help, but
it didn't work.
Cat's Peeing on house and defecating in yard08 Feb 2007 21:55 GMT3
Ever since my dog passed away, cats have been defecating in my
yard and I end up traveling through it when I mow the lawn.  I like
cats, but this behavior is annoying and I was wondering if anyone had
a remedy to stop this problem.  We also repainted my house and cats

Mini's a sweet, clear-eyed only child. She's a tiny thing, hence the
name Mini, about a 6 pounder. When
I met her she was living at a friend's house with 4 large territorial
cats that bullied her
