you can have more happy cats12 Feb 2007 15:37 GMT2
...than you realize...
As the renowned Jon Carr (a household name in parts of Southeast
Asia), I have often wondered what these things might be. Well I know
that you do also!
Warm hips - problem?12 Feb 2007 09:21 GMT6
Meep's 11 now.  She was born with somewhat deformed hind legs (warped
bones) - not terrible, but she's about as cow-hocked as a cat can get,
when she walks she swings her hocks around, and has very narrow hips.
She also has luxating patellas, though hasn't had a problem with them ...
Wandering Around and Meowing12 Feb 2007 02:55 GMT1
Three weeks ago we adopted a small, spayed, 3 year-old female cat from
PAWS.  When we brought her home she was on the end of recovering from
a cold and was also unsure about her new surroundings and therefore
slept most of the first few days.  We were delighted that at night she
Carpet treatment for my guests' comfort?11 Feb 2007 23:26 GMT12
We regularly have guests at our home, and two of them are allergic to
cats.  I'm wondering if any of you have found any sort of solution
(carpet treatment/air treatment) which helps keep guests who may be
allergic to cats comfortable while they're visiting.
Accuracy of FeLV/FIV Tests?11 Feb 2007 22:05 GMT1
My sister and I have a disagreement maybe some of you can shed light on
this.
We have a three year old cat (Candy) that was around others cats, one of
which that tested positive for Feline leukemia virus.  So we isolated Candy
Lilly has been sprung from jail & is liberated11 Feb 2007 21:45 GMT26
Wow, what a day it has been...All the action kicked off @ 9.30am when
the vet turned up for work. Both Paul & I were waiting for her because
we were determined to sort out what was going to happen to poor old
Lilly over the weekend as we were already aware that there would be no

cat's obsession with toy11 Feb 2007 18:21 GMT12
Hi. My cat LOVES his feather toy, to the exclusion of almost everything
else. Every time someone in the house stands up, he runs to the closet
where the toy is kept and starte meowing piteously. He comes into my office
or bedroom and starts meowing and tries to get me to go down ...
Backseat barrier?11 Feb 2007 15:34 GMT1

Anyone tried this?  I need a better dog solution for my company car
(sedan).  Roxy doesn't do very well with the harness and seatbelt--she
twists herself up in them and has to constantly be rescued, no matter how
Revolution for cats11 Feb 2007 14:59 GMT35
The new vet thinks the cats should be on Revolution instead of
FrontlinePlus and Interceptor.  It would certainly be simpler and less
expensive, but I hate to fix something that isn't broken.  The vet only
suggested this because Revolution covers ear mites.  This doesn't concern
Cat ran away & it's cold outside11 Feb 2007 14:30 GMT8
Our 8 or 9-month-old make cat begged to be let out first thing this
morning and we haven;t seen him since. I guess he must have gotten
spring fever or something. He has never been out for more than a few
hours at a time, never over night.
Soft Tissue Sarcoma11 Feb 2007 08:09 GMT7
One of our cats has just been diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma. He has
a lump on his left front shoulder for which he is going in for a CT or MRI
scan (hopefully) on Tuesday to see the extent of the tumour and to see
what the surgeon feels regarding a clean & positive outcome of ...
Purrs for Lilly Please10 Feb 2007 23:20 GMT21
I was observing Lilly the day before yesterday & I happened to notice
late in the afternoon that she was coughing. I picked her up for
cuddles ans reassuance, and noticed that she was dribbling too, so I
called my vet & asked if could bring her straight down for her to look

Flying Ratateenies!10 Feb 2007 21:03 GMT3
Turn your cat into a wild-eyed, monkey-armed, rabbit-kicking killer!

I tied a string around Tina Ratateenie's neck so she can really fly,
taunting Gracie on either side of the tall scratching post. Hee!  The thing
