Cat has tiny scabs on her back.16 Feb 2007 23:33 GMT7
Our aged female has been accumulating tiny scabs on her back.  She
doesn't have any critters such as fleas biting her and she lives
indoors.  What could this be?
I'm going to grab the outdoor cat tomorrow I think16 Feb 2007 23:29 GMT10
I've been feeding this cat for a few weeks now and we have established
a routine. As soon as it gets dark I bring out the food and he (she?)
shows up. I get rubbed a bit as I scoop out the food. I could have
grabbed him yesterday or today, but I can't deal with him yet. I've

Hello. I have been given a second hand scratching tower - the ones
with sisal scratching posts and levels made of carpet type material.
I am keen to make sure it is free of anything that could be
transferred to our new cat, such as fleas, dander, urine etc - does

Soft Tissue Sarcoma - an update16 Feb 2007 02:15 GMT8
Chooch had his MRI scan on Tuesday and I visited the hospital yesterday to
get the results. Not good news I'm afraid. The tumour is pretty massive
internally. The lump on his shoulder is really the "tip of the iceberg".
Internally, the tumour is too close to his spine and throat and ...
Grooming my Ragamuffin Cat16 Feb 2007 00:40 GMT11
Hello.  I have a purebred Ragamuffin cat and am having difficulty keeping him
nicely groomed and free from "knots" and mats.  I have taken him to a
"professional" groomer and she basically ruined his beautiful mane.  Now
along with the knots and mats he has a mane that is totally ...

Our dear cat Pebbles - ten years old - is listless and eating much
less than she used to. I took her to the vet yesterday (Wednesday) and
learned that she has lost five punds since her last visit. (Six months
ago). The vet tested for blood and urine. The results came back

CRF Kitty with hypertension15 Feb 2007 07:10 GMT14
I just brought Molly, my CRF kitty back from the vet's.  She's been doing
reasonably well with her CRF but over the weekend she started eating less
and seemed a bit wobbly.  Today she actually fell over several times while
trying to navigate around and seemed very weak.  Needless ...
Bullwinkle's tail15 Feb 2007 01:52 GMT6
Hi, everyone:  The last few days, I have noticed something very strange:
Bullwinkle's tail has gotten quite skinny. He is a medium-to-long-haired
tuxedo cat, and his tail has always been rather thick, especially at the
base. Overall, it doesn't seem as if his fur has gotten ...
my cat in the cold15 Feb 2007 00:29 GMT15
Hello to everyone in this group. I have 3 cats and they are not only
outdoors cats but indoors cats as well. My eldest cat (Velvet, soon to be a
5-years old) likes to be outdoors, even in winter. I live on a farm.
The other day I was up before sunrise and I saw Velvet on the porch ...
Update on cat not eating14 Feb 2007 22:31 GMT7
All,
Thanks to all who have voiced their advice and concern.  It looks like
Orion is gaining a little momentum and is starting to eat again.  It
seems as if grief / stress  may have been the cause of him stopping
Sylvester - one more update (bloodwork)14 Feb 2007 17:58 GMT6
Hi again,
Since you all were so nice and seemed so genuinely concerned over my old
guy, Sylvester, and the whole teeth cleaning issue, I thought I'd post
again to tell you the results of his senior wellness blood panel.
