Couldn't reply directly to you so am going this route.
Thanks for the pointer to all those great pictures. In the makeover,
it looks from the pic. like you wrapped the sisal right over the old

Cat throws poop out of litter box23 Feb 2007 02:17 GMT7
Brought new cat home last week - went great - last two days I have
found her poop on the floor beside the litter box.  It is lightly
dusted with litter - so it is being thrown out of the litter box - any
ideas?
Odd Spay Question (please help)23 Feb 2007 01:21 GMT9
I recently had my two year old cat (Tohru) spayed.  I realize waiting
this long was a mistake, so please don't bother pointing that out to me.  I
didn't have the money to spend.  So instead I kept her and my tomcat Kyo (a
rescue) apart while I was away, and monitored them ...

IV for teeth cleaning?23 Feb 2007 00:16 GMT33
My two cats (ages 13 and 12) are going in next week for a dental
cleaning.  The 13 year-old (Kitty) also needs a tooth extracted.  The
last time I got this done (different vet), it cost $700+ for the two
of them (a couple extractions).  The vet ran all kinds of blood tests

Tweaker is a good traveler who doesn't mind where he ends up as long as
he's with me... but I usually take an air taxi to/from the island when I
go to the mainland, and it's often a bumpy ride, especially in the winter
months.  Several times now Tweaker has puked and crapped in his ...
Base of tail?22 Feb 2007 14:45 GMT3
I've noticed some cats (such as one that belonged to my grandmother)
seem to develop a skin condition on their back, just at the base of
their tail.
My own cat seems to lick that spot more than anywhere else on her
Sad New about our Kittens22 Feb 2007 13:10 GMT29
We were so excited @ the birth of what we thought was our final litter
as breeders, & I was delighted when Blue~Belle had four wonderful
little white mice. She had an easy birth & all was well(2nd Feb 07).
Shortly after then, Lilly became very ill, & had to be taken to the

I'm hoping I can get some answers from some cat owners here in the group.

downhill. He takes him to the Vet almost weekly because just recently
he's stopped eating and he's been losing weight. This last time he ...

Any advice for my chronically sick kitty?22 Feb 2007 00:15 GMT12
Hi, all!  I'm new here.  Just found the site yesterday while trying to find a
way to help my kitty, Lucky.  My husband found him in the middle of a busy
road when he was small enough to fit curled up in my hand.  That was 9 or 10
years ago.  He was fairly healthy for several years, ...
Advice needed picking cat to get along with dog21 Feb 2007 20:49 GMT3
As the doggy favouring half of a quintessential dog person/cat person
relationship, I have given in to my cat loving husband and will be
getting a kitty soon. I was wondering if anyone has any tips for
picking a dog-friendly cat. I could get a kitten, but I would prefer an
