Kitty has Diarrhea14 Jan 2007 23:38 GMT4
Hi everyone.  My cat, Trouble, has been on Hills C/D dry food since late
October when he blocked (and Iams packet semi moist).  About a month ago, he
had a very short bout of diarrhea and had a reoccurence yesterday.  Could the
diarrhea be related to the C/D?  Not to be too ...
Male calico cat14 Jan 2007 06:38 GMT10
I saw my first male calico today!  He was adopted last week at the shelter,
and we all thought he was a girl, being calico and all.  We even shaved the
belly looking for a spay scar.  The new adopter brought "her" back today to
be spayed.  The vet did a look under the tail, and ...
Sort of OT, but they're still kittycats. But bigger14 Jan 2007 05:24 GMT5
I've been hooked on the Africam web feed lately, and apparently
today a pride of at least 8 lions consisting of mostly lionesses
and a single male took a young zebra. I didn't see much of the cam
today due to work, but on the forum, someone posted some video of

Pet Friendly Pest Control13 Jan 2007 14:19 GMT2
What would be a good pet-friendly pest control program to have in your home
?  I am planning on bringing a new kitty into my home within the next couple
of weeks and occasionally have problems ants or roaches (eek) in my home.  I
have used those little disks in the past but don't ...
personal habits13 Jan 2007 01:23 GMT1
Do cats normally poop every day?  It seems like he's skipped a few
days.  I looked around but couldnt find it anywhere.  Could a diet of
dry cat food make him constipated?
Charcoal filter on Drinkwell fountain12 Jan 2007 14:38 GMT11
What is the purpose of the charcoal filter on the Drinkwell pet
fountain? Is it to filter out gunk like cat hair, bugs, and snot or is
it to filter out mineral deposits? Also, my new fountain is leaving a
black residue in the bowl which is from the filter. The Drinkwell
3-year-old cat w/ dilated cardiomyopathy12 Jan 2007 04:40 GMT20
A month ago, my 3 year old cat Omar suddenly opened his mouth and
seemed to gasp for air. He's a big cat (20 lbs and looks like a Maine
Coon mix) so he often seemed a bit winded when he exerted himself. This
time his tongue was blue so my  mother rushed him to the emergency vet.
Trouble: late night shopper12 Jan 2007 04:34 GMT9
We have a large three-floor flat above a shop.  At one time or another,
the shop was part of the house.  The staircase, which previously
continued all the way down to the ground floor, has been sealed off
(sheet rock, etc).

..get kitty neutered?  The vet warned me that this could cause the kitty to
go
downhill from the surgery.  Kitty is spraying all over the place I'm
renting.   I love him so much I hate to lose him from the surgery. Has
Merrick cat food12 Jan 2007 00:45 GMT32
Does anyone have an opinion about Merrick canned cat food. It sure sounds like
good stuff. It's suppose to be human grade, no preservatives.  Right now she's
eating Nutro Natural Choice canned kitten food. She's 10 months old and I'm
thinking of putting her on the Merrick when she ...
Bee sting?11 Jan 2007 20:20 GMT4
I think my cat may have just been stung by a bee.  I've seen them buzz
around (just one or two) and stuff and I think he swat at one and may
have been stung... he keeps licking at his paw.  I just looked at it
and I see no stinger or anything.. should I be worried?
Meerkat Manor--I'm WRECKED11 Jan 2007 16:54 GMT35
The Goshawk snatched up baby Blossom and carried her off ... presumably to
rip her to pieces.
