nobody asked me, but someday someone will be googling FHD and might
find this info useful.

Bloody paw30 Dec 2006 23:34 GMT14
I came home this evening to find Celia running around terrified with a
plastic grocery bag around her middle.  No clue where she picked it
up--I try to bring home paper bags and toss any plastic bags I do get.
After I was finally able to catch her, I noticed she'd peed on herself
Hyperthyroid cat30 Dec 2006 19:23 GMT2
I'm in a difficult situation and was wondering what others would do.
My cat is 14 years old. I took him to a vet about six months ago and he was
diagnosed with a hyperthyroid condition. I was given the usual choice of
Tapazole, radiation, or surgery. We've tried the pills but the ...

My cat has been lethargic and anorexic; he vomits about every other
day.
His feces often times (not always) smell like feces and vomit, they
have a very heavy, dull, pungent smell (this is recent) - sometimes

Ideas for creative mechanized cat toys29 Dec 2006 20:49 GMT3
I have two cats who like to play a lot.   Most of their play time is
with me where I have some sort of string or wire with something at the
end of it where they chase it if I make it move in an interesting
fashion.
I need help with my cats health problem please!29 Dec 2006 20:14 GMT9
I’m having some serious problems with my new cat (see his photo on my profile)
and I hope someone has had a similar experience and can help him out.
I rescued Pumpkin from a dumpster at work 2 months ago. I had seen him
hanging around for about a month before that. Best guess is ...
Cat food for urinary tract29 Dec 2006 16:03 GMT3
We have a 12 year old cat that has started to develop urinary tract/bladder
infection.  We have successfully treated this episode with antibiotics, but
the vet recommended a diet of Purina Ur, available only from the vet.
Purina also makes a product called Purina One-Urinary ...

Yesterday he had diarea, still had blood in the stool though. but after
a while his pooping eased up completely. When I went to get him fresh
water I did notice the water was yellow, I was wondering maybe he was
Hip Dysplasia: Louis is doing better after Metacam28 Dec 2006 06:25 GMT3
When Louis was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia, the vet gave him an
analgesic and anti-inflammatory (Metacam). His rear leg was almost
unusable when we took him in, but after a week of Metacam and rest,
you'd be hard pressed to notice anything wrong.
