Are "pop top" canned foods dangerous to cats?13 Oct 2006 14:29 GMT3
I read recently that "pop top" canned cat foods have an ingredient
that can result in health problems for cats.  Since I feed both of my
cats canned cat foods which come in these containers, I would like to
know.
sounds for company13 Oct 2006 12:09 GMT9
I was wondering if anyone knew some streaming station, like on
shoutcast, that might play just nature sounds or something like that?
Just thought it would be nice to pipe out for Dino during my work hours
to give him some stimulation.

Habitually over-feeding13 Oct 2006 03:36 GMT4
Habitually over-feeding a partially mischevious or restless cat, will
only bring you misery as they will relentlessly aggrivate you with
petty and miscellaneous trifles
they will buffet you with little no no's
Cats on top of microwave.  Is this dangerous?13 Oct 2006 00:14 GMT1
My two cats love to lay on top of the microwave oven in our kitchen as
we cook.  My daughter suggested that it might be dangerous to the cats
because of leaking microwaves.  She thought that there might be a
cancer risk.  Is this a possibility?

Hello All.
My elderly cat has been on thyroid med for three months (overactive) and
the vet says her level is normal now but she still needs to gain weight.

Exposing The Homosexual/Pedophile Link12 Oct 2006 20:40 GMT1
Exposing The Homosexual/Pedophile Link
Homosexuals seldom openly admit that they want to sexually assault children,
but their literature and their actions tell another story. In the January
1-8, 2001 issue of The Weekly Standard, author Mary Eberstadt exposed the
quality wet foods12 Oct 2006 17:48 GMT5
I see quite a few people posting about feeding their cats Fancy Feast.
Is this a quality food?  I was always under the impression that Purina
wasn't the best, however if I can pay $.40 a can as opposed to $.68 a
bag (for Nutro wet), that'd be a plus!

A Tale of Two Kittens12 Oct 2006 16:37 GMT3
My wife and I just adopted two short-haired, tabby kittens (brothers)
at the weekend. They will shortly be 8 weeks old and were adopted from
lovely, caring people. They are bothe eating and exploring and playing
together absolutely fine and not giving any reason to be concerned for
Need suggestions cat accepting a dog12 Oct 2006 14:13 GMT2
As a child which was over 25 years ago I had a daschund and when he
turned 10 years old a neighbors cat started using him as a babysitter.
The mother cat would drop off her kittens and place them at my dogs feet
while she went hunting. We adopted this cat and one of her kittens. The

I have an appointment for them on Friday - the soonest I could get in.
His chest seems to have a large, hard mass in it.   I do an exam every
month when I trim nails - didn't feel this last month.  I am hoping I
am wrong, but I don't think I am.  Will keep you updated. :*(
16 year old with CHF12 Oct 2006 04:25 GMT4
I am new to this, however, I am not new as a cat owner.  I have had my maine
coon cat, CJ, for 16 years now.  I got her for Christmas when I was in
kindergarten and have loved every minute with her.  She was just recently
diagnosed with CHF and has slowly started to decline.  She ...

.... a resounding failure, at least with the indoor cats. The outdoor
critters *will* eat it although with varying degrees of enthusiasm. Their
attitudes range from 'YUMMY! gut meat to WTF is this? A family size can of
