My cat's poop is REALLY stinky16 Oct 2006 00:58 GMT5
I know this is a gross topic but we're all friends right?  My 13 month old
cat, which I adopted about a month ago has UNNATURALLY stinky poop.
Seriously.  We have another cat and I've had cats in the past and never
encountered something like this.
Help! Need advice on cat introduction16 Oct 2006 00:25 GMT15
Thanks in advance to anybody that responds to me!
We already have a 12 year old cat that has been ours for close to 6
years. On friday night we (my roommate and I) got a 2 year old cat
from the local humane society. This cat is VERY nervous and takes time

Housetrained Kitty15 Oct 2006 14:22 GMT4
So I've had this cat for a while now. She came as a young, underfed,
wild cat to my house on Dec. 2. We fed her and then she wanted out so
we let her out. Then she just started meowing outside so eventually she
stayed inside. Anyway, fast forward to today. She's gained some weight
Luna is under the weather :(15 Oct 2006 08:13 GMT3
When it rains, it pours, eh?
Just 2 nights ago, when I got home and was hanging out with Luna, that
she was sorta sniffling...and she shook her head like something was
bothering her in her nose. I honestly didn't make anything of it and

Hi Gang!  I posted this subject a few months ago (check archives - same
subject and writer).
Well, my fuzzy friend "Sugar" has finally adjusted to the litterbox
routine.

Feeding advice - new kitten and fatty 3 year old14 Oct 2006 23:24 GMT6
I have always free fed my cats dry food without problems.  Since
adopting my kitten, I have been free feeding kitten food in one room
and adult food in the other.  The kitten cannot get to the adult food
(yet), but the kitten food is easily accessible to both.  My older cat,
kitten biting cat's throat14 Oct 2006 23:15 GMT2
This is probably easily answered, but I'm not sure what to do.
I adopted a 12 week old male kitten (Poco) a month ago, and an 8 week
old female (Brenna), from the same Cat Rescue 2 weeks ago. I already
have a 5+ year old rescued male (Squeak).
Cat losing a patch of fur14 Oct 2006 22:27 GMT4
My cat, who is about 3 years old, has all of a sudden started losing
fur in a 6 inch by 2 inch patch above her right rear leg.  She is
acting normal, and doesn't seem unhealthy other than this.  Any
thoughts?
sh.t! Ear mites!14 Oct 2006 01:28 GMT17
Both of my freaking cats have ear mites!!  They never go outside.  All
I can figure is that my dog picked them up outside from the damn
neighbors' cats who roam in our yard.  I am completely pissed!  THAT is
why I hate roaming cats.
Question about shots/wormer14 Oct 2006 01:24 GMT2
Is there a particular time frame after a kitten has gotten its initial
shots/wormer when these should be updated?
Many thanks!
Sudden aggro from Congo.13 Oct 2006 22:45 GMT2
Well, as you know, my gang of orange (Moe, congo and garfeeld) has turned
one year old not long ago. I just wanted to run Congo's behaviour by you
guys, and see if you have any suggestions to alleviate things. Congo seems
to have decided he wants to be 'top cat' which I suspected ...
another update on Levi13 Oct 2006 16:30 GMT5
Levi ("the kitten who ate the latex nipple" and "the kitten who might
have FHV") saw the vet today.  The vet agrees that Levi has herpes.  He
didn't think it was a big deal and said L-Lysine will help "if I want
to do that."  I'm not entirely thrilled with this vet and am going to
