My first experience with a feline with a URI28 Oct 2006 19:47 GMT3
Emily is our female cat, she's an old lady at 14 but still going strong.
A couple days ago we noticed that our eldest cat Randy would nose her
away from the food bowl. Hmm..
Then we noticed that Emily was starting to look a little thin. She was
patch of fur missing28 Oct 2006 18:23 GMT104
One of the boys has started having a bald patch at the base of his tail
(top); it started gradually and is not lumpy looking but is irritated. As
none of the other cats have this, I am hoping it's not infectious, but in a
way that's worse as I'm not sure what to do. I am guessing ...

anal growths?28 Oct 2006 01:53 GMT6
This is kinda gross, but I can't figure out what's going on.
For a good bit of her life, my kitty has occasionally had little
"growths" on the hairless bit of her anus. Their makeup is a bit
difficult to describe, but reminds me of what an overgrown chestnut's

Hi guys, i just recieved a sample of 'Dogade' an electroyte replacer used

since I can't open the windows.

house and within 10 minutes she broke into hives and her eyes were swelling
I am back with another blockage question27 Oct 2006 14:06 GMT3
Hi everyone.  It's been a good solid week (maybe even two) since my last post
but I am back with another question.  For those of you who don't know, my cat
had a blockage almost a month ago, and since then he has been doing good.
Tonight when I got home from work, I was able to ...

Clyde seems to be all better! He plays a lot now and definitely bites
more could he be teething? When would he stop drinking the kitten milk
and start drinking water? He's 8 weeks old and I dont want him to get
used to drinking the kitten milk all the time.
anti-social cat27 Oct 2006 06:33 GMT1
I have two cats - one stalks me  - he follows me everywhere - and if I'm not
around he taunts the other cat, shatner
these days shatner just sits alone away from everyone else - he's so skittish
now.  It just makes me sad.  I worry that he's sad - or am I just importing
Sedative or knockout drop to help catch stray??27 Oct 2006 00:59 GMT4
I am trying to catch a stray that lives under an abandoned house but have not
had any luck.  I caught 2 others that were there with it but have been
working at this one now for a couple months.  Would love to get it before the
Michigan winter sets in!!  I think they were left ...

Kitten heart beat and breathing26 Oct 2006 20:10 GMT2
It has been a while since I have had a kitten.  My kitten is about 5
months old and I notice when she is sleeping that her breathing and
heart beat is very rapid. She has been to the vet and all is fine with
her - no underlying medical issues.  She was spayed about a month ago.

and I was wondering if anyone knew of a herbal supplement or anything I
might be able to give her to help prolong her beautiful life.  She got

Cats in trees26 Oct 2006 04:44 GMT2
I was just watching a show on Animal Planet where they were getting a
cat out of a tree. Is it really necessary to help cats get out of
trees? There's an old joke with the punch line: "Lady, have you ever
seen the skeleton of a cat in a tree?"
