URI in kitten08 Oct 2006 14:53 GMT8
Well, Levi finished his second round of antibiotics for a URI the night
before last.  Last night the sneezing and watery eyes, runny nose
started up again, ever so slightly, and this morning it's back in full
swing.  His eyes are not infected, thankfully (not yet...)  He has an
liver cancer contagious?07 Oct 2006 19:24 GMT1
Did I once hear that liver cancer in cats can be virally caused? I'm
getting some cat supplies from someone whose cat died of liver cancer. If I
wash and bleach everything, will it be safe?
Thanks,
update on Levi, the kitten who ate the latex teat07 Oct 2006 06:47 GMT11
Levi finally stuck.  The name, that is.  I thought I would give y'all
an update on him since you really helped me through a very stressful
time waiting for him to pass that thing.
Levi, who was hand raised (until he ate the nipple) also had an eye
Kitten advice07 Oct 2006 06:44 GMT112
Around 8:00pm found a 10 day old kitten on our Balcony (how she got
there, I do not know).  She may have been there since Thursday night;
one of our condo-mates heard a cat downstairs and thought it was one of
ours, and our cats showed interest at the balcony.  She has some eye
suddenly strange cat07 Oct 2006 06:42 GMT2
my cat is 9 years old and has suddenly started behaving oddly. He has taken
to sitting for hours on top of the banister, about 2 inches wide.
Unfortunately he keeps falling off, several times a night, but he will just
jump back on. He does the same thing when he is outside, sitting ...
Kitty Pee barbie07 Oct 2006 06:33 GMT9
For all the cat lovers out there, your kid can have a Barbie (ok, it's
her cousin Mika) that has a cat that pees in its own litter box!

True story.  A person adopted a kitten from the local Humane Society
but later returned it
saying they didn't want it anymore since it got "big".   Well hello!!

Help!  First-time cat owner has yucky-eyed kitty!06 Oct 2006 21:25 GMT5
Hi, I've never posted before, but I am very worried!  I took in a young
kitten we found on the side of the road.  It looked a mess, but I
thought it would be okay after a good bath.  It's now two days later
and the kitten's eyes continually run, her face and paws and forelegs
what stresses your cat?06 Oct 2006 21:17 GMT1
I've been really fortunate with my cats, with the exception of one who
died at a very young age.  Now that I have a kitten who may have FHV, I
am interested to know what stresses out your cats so I can try to avoid
stressing out my Levi.
Spayed female with enlarged nipples06 Oct 2006 16:54 GMT3
I have a 2 y/o female cat that was spayed when she was 10 months old
(she was a stray). Recently, I noticed that her back two nipples are
bigger than the rest. If I didn't know any better, I'd say she was
pregnant, but she can't be. She is slightly pudgy and has had weight
Food Untouched06 Oct 2006 05:39 GMT7
I always give my Siamese cat the best food I can get my hands on.  Every
weekend he gets Wellness crunchies as a treat, which he loves.  He loves
this so much in fact, that after it's gone, and I give him wet food, he
usually lets it sit....and sit.  Last time this happened, the wet ...

Saying Goodbye To Jason06 Oct 2006 04:43 GMT26
On Sunday, my husband, Michael, and I spent most of the day alternating
between crying and remembering Jason, a cat I found half-starved and
scrounging for food in September of 05. He was the most affectionate
cat we've ever seen, preferring my lap while I was working and a comfy
one could eat no fat - the other could eat no lean05 Oct 2006 20:54 GMT1
the situation is this: I have one overweight cat and one skinny kitten that
needs calories.  the overweight cat has a "low cal" prescription food and the
kitten has  another. - they have separate bowls, and get their food at the
same time in the hopes that if they eat at the same ...
