Al, my orange tabby (4 white paws and chest), who I adopted from an Ohio shelter 14 years ago on August 17, died today. He had lung cancer. I held him as the vet euthanized him. It was peaceful and quick. The vet left me alone with Al for a few minutes afterwards and I cried ...

| My Cat Lost Her "Meow" | 02 Sep 2006 12:25 GMT | 6 |
I have two adult kitties. Over a week ago, I noticed that the younger one, Inky, began rasping a bit when she meowed. A few days later it was gone completely, and though she'll open her mouth and try to meow, no sound comes out at all.
