New Litter : Feline PINE12 Sep 2006 00:37 GMT22
I was getting tired of cleaning up normal litter from all over the place
after the cats track through the house, so I found this new litter.  It's
called Feline Pine.  Has anyone ever used this stuff?
It's great.  The urine turns into SAWDUST! and does not smell at all.  You

other things have intervened.
I decided Ruf should have a geriatric check up as he turns 13 this
weekend.  I was surprised when he was weighed and was under 19 pounds
bald spot10 Sep 2006 18:55 GMT21
Shaina keeps biting at her fur on her back, close to the tail and there
is a 5x8 cm bald spot there.  we've been to the vet in NY and here in
Tucson and the consensus is that it's not an infection (they did tests)
and it's not an allergy (she got a cortisone shot). the vet here
Icy Hot on a cats nose...10 Sep 2006 16:04 GMT1
I put a fairly liberal amount of Icy Hot on my elbow this morning. Upon
returning to the living room, my boy Spot jumped up next to me, caught a
whiff of it, and immediately planted his nose against the area where it had
been applied. His regret was obvious and immediate. I ...
Kitten diarrhea10 Sep 2006 15:57 GMT2
I got 3 foster kittens 5 weeks ago. They were approximately 3-4 weeks old at
the time. I believe they had been brought to a previous foster home almost a
week prior. That foster home generally doesn't do bottle feeding which is
why I got them when I got back from vacation.
Hypoallergenic food - What else?10 Sep 2006 13:37 GMT6
My cat's been diagnosed as developing a food allergy and the vet put her on
Science Diet Z/D.  She hates it and is eating very little.  She isn't
vomitting every ten minutes, so that's good (I need new carpet).
So my question is: Can anybody recommend an alternate brand?  ...
Hodge movie (and the hazards of laser pointers)10 Sep 2006 13:35 GMT2
We really did not mean to make him slam his head into the radiator
cover. We didn't realize he'd done it 'til we saw (and heard) the video.
Owie. He's okay. :)

Tummy problems09 Sep 2006 01:19 GMT1
My vet doesn't seem too concerned about this so I wanted to ask you
guys as a sort of unofficial second opinion.

Monkey cat08 Sep 2006 19:44 GMT5
A while back I brought home a scratching post that is about twice the height
of the little useless ones we all have had that our cats will not use ... it
was $15 at Petsmart and has a nice heavy base, carpet covering. (I bought
glue and sisal rope to apply to make it a better ...
