Litter Box problems -- advise desperately needed.24 Sep 2006 12:51 GMT12
My cat is 17 years old.  He has had his fair share of adventures, but is
still in remarkably good health.
However, over the last year he has developed an odd aversion to the litter
box:  he steps in just far enough to get all four paws in the litter, then
Nipsy upchucks big time (don't read while eating)23 Sep 2006 20:39 GMT2
We had finished breakfast and were gathering around for the
Temptations desert. I put some in front of Espy on the floor and some
for Nipsy on the bed, as usual. Nipsy sniffs them and walks to the end
of the bed. Hmm says I. That's odd. Then he makes a few odd mewling

Good source for cat tree/condo, etc.22 Sep 2006 18:36 GMT5
I'm adopting 2 cats from the local humane society. They are both a year
old and very active. I want to buy a cat tree/condo. I'd appreciate it
if someone would suggest a good source other than Petco and Petsmart.
Thanks very much for your help.
prescription foods for Kidney disease/failure22 Sep 2006 13:07 GMT10
We just found out that Jasmine, our 13-yr-old cuddle-cat has (at a
minimum) kidney disease.  We are waiting on the urine test to find out
if it has progressed to CRF yet.  But both her vets prescribed
low-protein cat food because of the elevated creatin levels in her
Kitten behavior after receiving shots.22 Sep 2006 07:04 GMT4
I am a first time owner of a kitten (almost 12 weeks old).  She has
been sleeping all day after receiving her shots.  Is this normal
behavior and should I expect this in the future?  Thanks in advance.

I went to Petsmart today and was going to pick up one of those
auto-waterer deals for my cat.  When I got home I realized I got one
that had been opened and returned.  I went to put it together and
realized that someone had bought it, used it, the pump got clogged up

Mysterious death of my cat21 Sep 2006 07:21 GMT3
Hi all, I had a very playful and energetic brown cat. She was always on
the move, catching small animals, and playing around with small
coconuts and such stuff. But, recently, when she was about one year
old,she grew lethargic and showed a distaste for food, and spent hours
My "Point of Light"21 Sep 2006 03:11 GMT1
I'm a huge animal lover and have always had a fuzzy or feathered friend
in my life.  Right now I have the most lovable main-coonish orange,
fuzzy, BIG cat named Hobbes.  Hobbes was 6 when I first met my husband,
who, at the time professed to be "allergic" to cats.  Hmpf!  He didn't
Sick cat, please help!20 Sep 2006 12:07 GMT9
For the last couple of days my cat has been sneezing non-stop.  His right eye
is watering and his nose is running  so bad that it sprays all over the place
when he sneezes.  While he seems a bit sleepy, prob. due to being up most of
the night sneezing, his appetite is fine, wont ...
Does this vet seem to be on the right track?20 Sep 2006 05:28 GMT7
Greetings all,
I have a 10 year old cat who recently lost a ton of
weight very fast (over a period of 6 weeks). He was
very weak, and didn't eat very much at the time.
