I have two adopted cats and both were outdoor cats in the past with previous
owners.  Both of my cats look longingly out the windows and try to escape
anytime the door opens even for a second.  One of my cats seems "depressed".
He sleeps all day and never moves from under a chair.  ...

I'm interested in purchasing one of those pet water fountains/drinking

the ones I looked at have filters which have to be changed about once a

I've got 2 cats. I live in Quebec, so we do get cold winters.
Both cat are indoor cats: they used to go outdoors, but some of our
neighbor complained (and to an extent I think one of them poisoned one
of our cat a few years ago, he got REALLY sick). Anyway, bottom line,

I have this middle-aged cat who I rescued from the streets (oddly
