We have four neutered males - two are five months old, two are eight years old. They eat from each other's bowls a lot so trying to give kitten food to the kittens and cat food to the adults isn't working out too well. Is it okay to give kitten food to the cats, or

My longhaired, neutered 8 year old male used to 'produce' one hairball about every 6 - 9 months. All of a sudden, he produced two last week alone. I have been combing him religiously and no change in diet. Cause for alarm? Trip to the vet? (He goes for his annual next March.)
