Tiger's rabies shot28 Jul 2006 00:29 GMT15
When Tiger got his rabies shot on 7/10/06 he was about three weeks
overdue because of the vet not being able to fit him in sooner.  He had
the MRAD-3 vaccine which SHOULD be good for three years but the vet's
office claims that the law says he must be re-vaccinated in one year
incontinent senior citizen kitty :-(27 Jul 2006 23:25 GMT10
My older cat, now 18 years old, started peeing on the kitchen floor
earlier this spring.  I've done all the obvious things; took her to
the vet at the first sign of trouble, but that turned up no new
medical problems; put another box down in the kitchen, which she used
Cat Scrubbing along on floor27 Jul 2006 22:28 GMT8
My 4 year old cat frequently hauls herself across the floor on her bum.
There is never anything on it, I just assume she is itchy (rather long fur
there).  anybody know anything else it could be?  Anybody have experience
with something similar?

I have an 11 month old Himmie that I am trying to mate at a reputable
breeder. This is the 2nd time I have attempted to do this and she will
not cooperate. As soon as I bring her to the breeder, she is
affectionate withher, but she will not have any part of the stud and
Ibuprofen and cats27 Jul 2006 20:20 GMT4
Woke up this morning with a raging headache so I took some Ibuprofen. I
dropped one of the pills and ever mindful of the furry mistresses I
found it even through it took me ages and disposed of it.
But it made me wonder is Ibuprofen toxic for cats? I know aspirin is

Please help our listless and vomiting cat.27 Jul 2006 19:08 GMT36
Our cat Luxor is two and a half years old, and is normally a very
healthy and
active (indoor) cat.  (He's a Norweigan Forest mix, if that helps at
all.)  Seven days ago, he had a bout of of very foul-smelling diarrhea,

Constipated cat27 Jul 2006 14:16 GMT3
Hoping I can get a little help here.  I have a cat who is
constipated and has been for a while.  Took him to the vet about 2
weeks ago and he was given an enema.  Since then he is still
constipated.  The vet isn't concerned unless he starts vomiting
neighborhood cat chasing birds27 Jul 2006 03:49 GMT3
We have several indoor cats, and enjoy feeding birds in our yard.
Recently a cat from the neighborhood shows up every AM and has killed
several of the birds.  Is there a safe, non chemical way to discourage
cat from entering our yard?
Can cats smell cancer or injuries/infection?27 Jul 2006 03:27 GMT3
I was wondering if anyone has info on whether cats can detect cancer as
well as dogs.  My dog sammy had cancer of the nose and skin, and my two
cats were constantly going up to him and smelling the affected areas
even before we knew he had cancer- in fact - that is what led us to go

My cat Luxor is two years old, and is normally a very healthy and

up a brown liquid, and not eating at all.  At the beginning of the

I am at my wits end with my co-worker's neglect of her cat. For a month now
her cat has been very sick and she refuses to take him to the vet. I hardly
know this girl and I've never met her cat. She says that the cat has constant
diarrhea (pure liquid with blood and mucus), the cat ...
