Hi I have 3 kids of the four legged variety.  Snickers a Persian, Wiley a
Maine Coon and Bugga Boo a kitty my husband found on the street.  We have had
Snickers for 9 years, Wiley for 7 years and Bug for 6 years.
Almost a year ago Wiley started to lick the hair off his beautiful ...

Do dog's farts smell worse than cat's farts?04 Jul 2006 23:12 GMT2
Do dog's farts smell worse than cat's farts?
Based on what I have experienced of cat's farts, all I can say is that
I hope not. Scientific studies of farts show that cat's farts have a
higher concentration of odor-causing gases than dog's farts, but dog's

I have 3 cats: one female (Lucy, about 2 years old) and two males
(Rascal, about 1 year old, and Socks, probably 3 years old).  All were
strays.  Lucy was the first stray and she is very docile.  Rascal has
been with us about 6 mos.  Finally, Socks was taken in about a month

My cat was put to sleep yesterday. It all happened so fast. At the same
time I'm not confident about certain decisions that were made by the
veterinarian. I realise my investigations will not bring my cat back to
life, but I'd like to clear some things up, and I need an independant
I'm not sure about my current cat food.04 Jul 2006 05:22 GMT12
I just got a 7 week old kitten, and I am currently feeding her dry "Special
Kitty" for kittens. Most people I know use it, and their cats are all healthy,
but would it be better if I switched to a different food? Or is it alright if
I continue using my current food. Any input is ...

Hello --
Can I buy this from sources other than my vet?
This product seems to be working on my male Burmese eye problem.
The vet said to use it liberally 3 times per day; doing so makes it

I have two cats, who have just turned a year old. One is ginger and
male (Tayla), the other black and female(Jet).  Over the last few
weeks, Jet has started too  become harder and harder to get in a night,
which has resulted in both of them being out all night, as they're very

Best cat food out there??????? opinions please03 Jul 2006 13:10 GMT3

I feed my cats Eukanuba Lamb and Rice dry food, with additional goodies here
and there.
Is there a "best" dry food out there?
Auto Feeder Recommendations??03 Jul 2006 04:27 GMT4
My little guy is not on of those cats I can just leave food out for.
He gets fed a 1/4 cup in the am and 1/4 cup in the pm.  So now we are
talking about going on vacation.  I have a friend who is willing to
come over once a day, but if I could avoid that and make it every other

When is it "time"?02 Jul 2006 20:33 GMT26
One of our cats seems like she's going downhill....she's 16 years old.
For the past 2 months or so, she has trouble walking around, her back
legs just seem to give out and sometimes her head just starts twitching
uncontrollably...then she'll howl and try to walk but just stumbles ...
Under Rear Fur02 Jul 2006 15:17 GMT3
Altered male, just over 10 months old, has a profusion of extra fur
and loose skin on his rear underside, between and forward from his
hind legs; kind of hangs down, like if he was a cow, then there you'd
milk him but a bit more forward. Otherwise, apparently healthy, happy,
Dog scares my cats02 Jul 2006 09:11 GMT2
I need an opinion on something.
The person I live with has a dog that he keeps tied up on a chain (bad,
I know) in a pen with a doghouse. Recently, the guy keeps tying his dog
up in the yard rather than in the pen. Even though that annoys me (I'd
