I read somewhere that there is a special litter that detects blood in the

sort of orange (kind of salmon) spot in my cat's litter tray, and it happend
again (like 4 days later). Nobody else in my house ...

Why dry food does not clean teeth31 Jul 2006 22:16 GMT25
There have been several of threads recently (on several newsgroups)
concerning the question of whether dry cat food is needed for dental health.
Here is an article written by a veterinarian that explains why cat food does

Many of you are familiar with my father and all the unique problems he
poses ( which is how I knew to post this question here ). My problem

Papa allows into the basement, where his room is located. The entire
New Kittens and Mother Question31 Jul 2006 20:29 GMT3
I was watching a cat for a friend out of town for a week when she had
kittens in a comfortable spot (I made her a bed) she found in my
garage.  This was last Monday, 7 days ago.  The kittens (3) and mother
seem content, healthy, and doing just fine.
Will an new cat pee on my carpet where my old cat peed?31 Jul 2006 20:25 GMT11
I had an 11yr old cat the constantly peed in the hallway and pretty much
where she felt like it despite keeping her litter box clean. We eventually
gave her away because of this. I could not take it anymore cleaning carpet
twice a week only to have her pee again on the same areas. ...
Phil and all concerned - Questions about Hills Science Diet ingredients31 Jul 2006 17:46 GMT17
Just curious.  I was looking at the ingredients of some of the Science
Diet dry foods and was amazed that the first or second ingredients were
by-products followed by corn, etc.
Don't you find it strange that such a highly thought of brand has those

This morning, my female cat started to hiss and groan at me and decided
to take matters on my back pack.  Fecal matter all over my bag.  I was

Wiggle worms31 Jul 2006 10:22 GMT9
I feed the cats in the kitchen, probably like most of you.
Due to their different personalities, one stands and stares at me and (I
