Well, after 3 second opinions from various vets we had to have our cat's tail amputated (1/2 way down). After going through the surgery and anesthesia, he came through just fine. Our problem is that after all the trauma he's been through, he now has to wear a cat collar so

I have been feeding Dufus Hills XD canned, with a little XD dry as a treat for quite a while now, as he loves the dry. He has stopped eating the canned. I then changed to Renal LP to see if the change would help him eat. That went ok for a short time, then he stopped eating that. ...

Matilda has a broken upper canine (at the gum line) and has an appointment with a feline dentist first thing Monday morning. From my readings it would appear that a surgical extraction will be in order, either that or a root canal. Poor Matilda!
