Cats peeing on down comforter.22 Jun 2006 22:03 GMT8
Like many cat owners it seems, I am having trouble with my cats (one of them
alone I think) peeing where they shouldn't. Most noteably on my down
comforter. I picked it up from the dry-cleaners on Thursday (for the third
time); Saturday night I go to bed to put my hand in sopping ...
Bengal Katzen and IBD22 Jun 2006 17:07 GMT12
a few days after paying a deposit for 2 Begal Kittens, I found the
following:
> They are confused as to whether they are wild or domestic and

New Here, Sick Cat... help, please?22 Jun 2006 16:42 GMT11
Is there a vet on this board who can tell me what's going on w/ my cat?
She is about 8 years old, medium length fur, and for the last two days she
hasn't been able to keep anything down for more than a couple hours, even
water.  We've just moved, so there are boxes everywhere, and ...
Raspy Meow - Cause for Concern?22 Jun 2006 00:13 GMT3
I have a 14 year old male cat that was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism about 2
months ago.  He is on Methimazole (10 mg - 0.5 by mouth twice a day).  He has
always been very vocal; however, his meow has become very raspy and hoarse.
He eats well and has gained back the weight he lost ...
kittens that are runts21 Jun 2006 22:28 GMT8
I had a cat for more than 20 years who never weighed more than 7
pounds. She was the best lap cat and extremely healthy. I write for a
living and it was great to have a light weight lap cat while I worked.
She died six weeks ago and now we're looking for a kitten. We really

Is this strange behavior?21 Jun 2006 14:32 GMT17
Well - this is probably a strange post!
Last night, a cat walked up to my husband and the both of them meowed
to each other in play. Since then, this cat has literally "marked" each
one of us (mom, dad, & kids including objects in our home w/ cheek
Long Trip Car Travel with Cats21 Jun 2006 07:47 GMT6
I need to travel about 1300 miles (there and then back again in 2
months) with my two cats. At first I booked an airplane ticket, but was
told cats would have to go into a special pet cargo hold (I could keep
them in one crate). I booked the ticket with the expectation that I

I want to do the best for my 4 indoor cats and feed them well. They are
all healthy and regularly vet checked.  They get mostly dry food.  Once
a day they get wet food usually Fancy Feast since that is the only one
available that they will eat.
Shrimp?20 Jun 2006 13:09 GMT6
Is shrimp okay for cats to eat?  I never see shrimp cat food but I
assume that's just because it may be too expensive to market.  My boys
LOVE to get a cold cooked morsel of shrimp now and then, almost more
than anything else. Just wanted to make sure shellfish is okay for them.
Self Vaccination20 Jun 2006 06:41 GMT13
I am interested in vaccinating my two adult cats myself. They are
both fixed, and have seen the vet within the last year.
I am interested in purchasing 2 doses of Fvrcp-c and a FELV,  in a
single dose syringe. Does anyone have any suggestions?
cost of dental work19 Jun 2006 09:24 GMT16
When Otto was at the vet a few weeks ago (colitis) the vet looked in his
mouth and said that his teeth were in bad shape, he needed a cleaning and
there were at least two that would probably have to be pulled.  He said that
once Otto was over his colitis I should make an appointment ...
The Liger, a cross between a male Lion and a female Tiger.. "Giant Genus Panthera"18 Jun 2006 22:53 GMT3
The Liger is a cross between a male lion and a female tiger. I find
this Giant Cat highly interesting, but in my opinion it seems wrong, if
not irresponsible, to crossbreed 2 different species like this,
resulting in health problems, including a high probability of blindness
how to stop neighbourhood cats spraying...18 Jun 2006 21:41 GMT2
I hope someone here can give me some advice. We've always had cats, and
have never had a problem with the neighbourhood cats before now. However
a couple of years ago we got a female kitten, and she grew to have one
litter of kittens before we had her desexed. She brought the
