constipation30 Jun 2006 23:55 GMT2
Well, Meep and I have been reunited for a couple weeks now.  She's fine,
but has a problem with constipation - back to her old problem of not
drinking enough.  She's getting hairball meds and laxatone daily, but
she's still only going about once every 3 days.  She had an enema a
Moving across the country with cats30 Jun 2006 20:13 GMT5
I need some advice here.  I have 3 cats.  One is 16, one is 11 and I
think the other about 9-10.  I am thinking about moving from Atlanta,
to Salt Lake City.  Anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to
move them?  I don't want to kill the 16 year with the trip by driving
Cat Meows all morning30 Jun 2006 19:42 GMT3
So the routine is that the alarm goes off at 6:15 am every day and I
get up and first thing - feed the cat.  During the week - this is the
time I get up to go to work.  On the weekend I go back to bed.
Regardless of wether I am up or not, over the past month KitKat meows
Clawing at mouth30 Jun 2006 18:16 GMT10
I'm wondering if anybody could help .  My kitten who is 6 weeks old has
recently started clawing at her mouth causing it to bleed.  This happens
usually after taking a bite of food but yesterday she was doing it even when
not eating, she would claw at her mouth with both paws every ...

Cat licking my face30 Jun 2006 11:05 GMT3
Well, I've finally taught the new kitten not to sleep in my hair. His
newest thing is licking my face. He's done this three nights in a row.
He's very thorough, does almost the whole face and neck. I think it's a
bonding thing, like two kittens grooming each other. Which brings up
Otto's dental work, annoyed with vet30 Jun 2006 10:43 GMT2
My cat Otto (almost 7 years old) went to the vet last month because he was
very lethargic, not eating.  Vet said colitis, gave me medication, said Otto
should be fine in a few days, and he was.  The vet said that Otto's teeth
were in very poor condition and would need to be ...
lethargic kitty followup30 Jun 2006 10:10 GMT10
A few days ago, I posted about my 3 year old cat who had been quite
lethargic for a week or two.  The vet found that he had a fever and a
high white-cell count.  Since all other blood and fecal tests turned
out OK, the vet thought he most likely was fighting an abscess.  The
My kitten likes to perch on my shoulder.30 Jun 2006 07:18 GMT1
My two month old little girl has taken to climbing up on my shoulder and
sitting there. When I'm sitting I don't mind, it's when I need to move that's
the problem. If I try to stand up, she'll move to my upper back, and most of
the time she ends up sliding off. I'm worried that she ...
My cat stands on me when I sleep.30 Jun 2006 07:16 GMT5
When I go to sleep, sometimes I'll wake up and my cat will be standing over
me. If I sleep on my side, she stands on my arm. If I sleep on my back,
she'll be on my chest. Kind of like "standing guard". I don't know why she
would do this. I've had her for almost a week now. (she's 8 ...
How to modify cat (new) bad habits?30 Jun 2006 07:09 GMT6
We have 4 cats in our household.  The oldest, a 3 year old male (the
other 3 are female), just recently (about 1 month ago), started using
our bathtub as his potty area.  We keep 3 separate cat litters very
clean (he's done this within hours after cleaning).  We've tried a few
help needed for problem pottying behavior30 Jun 2006 03:15 GMT4
My daughter's two-year old neutered male cat has defecated on her bed
two of the past three days. She is trying to pinpoint the cause of this
behavior. The cat is very hungry for attention and  she is gone several
hours each day. She was gone a long time the two days he did this.
Long haired cats30 Jun 2006 02:42 GMT5
Can you advise me on a suitable brush for long haired cat
I have several types of brushes:
1. metal comb - This comb gets the best results, but the teeth aren't
wide enough. He runs away because I'm pulling too much.

litter box and went right outside of it.  Her mood hasn't changed a
all, she's still the same, and is eating and drinking as normal.  I'
