Dumb neighbors21 May 2006 19:06 GMT10
Male and female couple - newly married but older than me - I'd say late
40's early 50's.    They have a cat they let roam all day and all
night.  He is *adorable* - black and white tux, named Buster.  The
other day I was out standing in my yard talking to another neighbor and

Otto's not eating, medication questions21 May 2006 07:05 GMT3
My cat Otto, almost 7 years old, started acting weird Wednesday.  On
Thursday he went to the vet who diagnosed colitis.  He said it would
probably pass in a few days and it could have been brought on by stress.
Otto barely ate breakfast on Wednesday (and threw up what he did eat) ...
not sure if this is ringworm21 May 2006 07:02 GMT4
HI my cat has a white spot about the size of a dime that no fur grows
on on his back. I thought it was ringworm but it's been there for a
while and is not spreading and I have not developed any ringworm spots.
Any ideas on what it may be based on the description?

Aggressive cat20 May 2006 19:59 GMT6
I adopted a tiny, cute 1.5 y.o. female from SPCA and have struggled
with her for almost 3 years.  On a dime, she will turn and bite or
scratch me.  I had a friend over for brunch the other day and she drew
blood!  Any suggestions?  She is a very nervous cat.

10minutes of playing and she's not playing very hard is there something i
should be worried about. She also just got spaded last week on the 9th of May.

I guess I'm lucky it lasted even 6 days!  ;>
For Mother's Day I got a *very* nice leather desk chair for my office (what
was DH thinking getting leather??!) - perfectly shaped and proportioned to
fit my body like a glove and it feels so nice and soft against my skin.  But
Feliway affecting humans?20 May 2006 11:47 GMT3
A friend of mine in Australia just told me that the Feliway diffuser was
(or might be?) taken off the market because it's affecting humans..
I can't seem to find anything on the 'net about this.  Can anyone
provide any info?  I really wanted to have a couple diffusers installed
Good Read re Politics [OT]20 May 2006 06:19 GMT1
Following up on the political discussions we've been having...
For those of you who would like an eye-opening, thought-provoking look at
American (and world) politics, I highly recommend Taylor Caldwell's "The
Captains and the Kings".   Wherever you see the name "Armagh" ...
Yes! I did it - coworker was going to adopt a dog but she got a cat instead20 May 2006 05:37 GMT2
Coworker of mine was talking to me about wanting to adopt a puppy or
dog. I told her dogs were an awful lot of work and another co-worker
told her how willful some dogs can be.
Well I explained to her that cats weren't aloof, that they were very
Missing cat19 May 2006 22:57 GMT67
Hi all - I am so stressed and need people to keep my baby in their
thoughts today. I recently moved into a new house last week and it
backs onto a forest, with few neighbours. Anyway I haven't let my cat
out because I wanted him to become familiar with the territory first on
Save the SNAKES!19 May 2006 18:31 GMT4
This is the snake my tiny tabby was afraid of when she saw it on the floor
where my nephew had left it four years ago when I brought her home from the
shelter.
A few months later I got it out again and she began conquering it several

Cat vomits after eating19 May 2006 13:27 GMT5
My cat seems to have the classic symptoms of a hair ball.  He vomits
about 10 minutes after eating anything solid.  Even a single piece of
food will make him vomit.  It makes him really miserable for about 10
or 15 minutes and then he's OK.
