| Baby oPossum explosion - my boys are interested | 24 May 2006 15:42 GMT | 10 |
As some may recall, I have a small backyard fenced in to allow Espy and Nipsy to go outside. Well, a few days ago I see Nipsy in the hall playing with his toy mouse. No, it's a live, or rather, dead mouse. Burial at sea time.

Is our cat too old to add a kitten to our family? A year and a half ago, a 5 month old kitten walked into our lives. Very sweet and incredibly smart cat. So we fixed her, vaccinated her and kept her. She's now about 2 and an indoor cat (well, we take her

While I was at a meeting, I boarded Hodge and took advantage to have his teeth cleaned. He was at a point where the veterinarians were saying, "He needs a cleaning, but it doesn't look like any need to come out" -- well, in his case, a toothless Hodge might not be a bad thing :O. ...

| How deep do cats think? | 23 May 2006 02:54 GMT | 10 |
My boy Spot did something the other day I was a bit impressed with. The more I think about it, the more it seems like a deliberate action. My wife had dropped the back to an earring on the bedroom carpet this past Sunday. Naturally it blended right in and neither of us could find ...

| cats and dog food | 22 May 2006 16:02 GMT | 2 |
I am about to move out of town and me and my three cats will be sharing a townhouse with a bichon frisse dog for 3 weeks or so. He is not a violent dog, and is rather small, but is not very well trained. He is used to cats, but my cats aren't used to dogs.

| H.P. Lovecraft: The Cats of Ulthar | 22 May 2006 03:05 GMT | 4 |
I'm a big Lovecraft fan. If you haven't heard of him, he was a pulp-fantasy writer of the early 20th century whose fame only grew after his death. He's now regarded as a seminal horror/fantasy/sci-fi giant in America.
