Suddenly two cats fighting01 Jun 2006 00:40 GMT7
I have four male neutered indoor males.  Mid last year, the 5 year old
bit the 9 year old.  Recently he has bit him twice more - once
requiring two weeks of antibotics and a drainage of the wound. Previous
to this they both use to sleep near each other and groom each other.
Semi-wild cat w/kittens31 May 2006 23:12 GMT3
We have a cat that is approx 1 1/2 yrs old. When she came to us, she was wild.
She is still not tame but she does tolerate us petting her when she feels
like it and feeding her. She is an outside cat, WILL NOT come into the house
no matter what you offer her. She had kittens approx ...
sore on nose31 May 2006 23:11 GMT3
My 10 year old cat has a sore on her nose. I noticed it a few days ago
and since it seems to be larger. It started out looking like a little
red dent. It doesn't look infected. It doesn't seem to be painful. She
is an indoor cat . There are no other animals or people in the house so
food for anemic cat advice requested31 May 2006 04:11 GMT1
My 8 year cat has  anemia, caused by borderline  CFR.  I was told that
food with liver would be useful.  About two weeks ago I saw a  Meow
Mix food that had liver and chicken , labeled conspicously on its
pouch.so I bought some.  My cat loves it, but I never used this

Cat Urnation30 May 2006 03:24 GMT3
I have two female cats who are about four months apart in age.  They are both
really well behaved and  we really don't have any issues.  However,  in
December of 2005 the oldest Isabel my husband and I assume was angry with us
because she was in the process of urinating on our ...
Cat holding it in.30 May 2006 03:21 GMT4
This is a cat that we have had for about a month or so.  This cat was very
odd in that it wouldn't eat solid food at all.  We had to get wet food and
mix it with the solid.  Today the cat just gets solid.   The cats big problem
is its tendency to hold in urine, and feces for as long ...

Just got back from Petsmart29 May 2006 19:39 GMT8
I took Ray in to get his claws clipped (He likes the woman that does it
at the local store, and I have been trying to broach the subject of how
she might like me for awhile, but that's another story for another
message board) and it turns out Ray DOES have fleas.

Loss of fur due to scratching29 May 2006 05:13 GMT2
We have a 6 1/2 year old female who tends to scratch the fur off her skin in
areas on her back, sides, and rear underbelly around her legs.  We have taken
her to the Vet.  He gave her a temporary solution of a cortisone shot.  He
also recommended flea drops instead of the collars we ...
I have a question28 May 2006 23:31 GMT10
Actually two questions.
Ray (My cute little 1 year old male cat) seems to be itching quite a
bit in one area. I have no idea why he would be doing this. I've
treated him with flea and tick repellent and he's an indoor cat. It's
reusable cat litter28 May 2006 17:05 GMT4
Just wondering if anyone out there has used 'washable' cat litter. The idea
is that it is used in a special filter tray. It does not absorb anything,
just gives the cat digging material! The solids stay on top and are scooped
away as usual, but the urine flows down into a ...
