High Calcium Level04 Apr 2006 16:27 GMT3
Our 13 yr old male has a high calcium level.  Does anyone have experience
with this problem that they can share?
The vets say cancer is likely but thus far haven't found a tumor.  Another
possibility mentioned is a syndrome that results in high calcium level.
Ear Wax??04 Apr 2006 13:51 GMT10
We adopted a 3 year old Maine Coon a year ago from a shelter.  His ears
were full of a dark brown waxy substance.  When I took him to the vet,
the vet cleaned them out and gave me some drops to put in his ears for
10 days.  It looked like they cleared up, but after another week or ...

Proactive Acne Treatment--Be Good To Your Skin04 Apr 2006 09:20 GMT3
Do you know what healthy skin is? Do you know that even if you suffer
from acne that you can have healthy skin? Not many people are aware
that in order to have beautiful skin, you have to make the effort to
develop a day-to-day routine to provide your skin with the nutrients it
cat plays rough with puppy03 Apr 2006 19:15 GMT7
We have a 10 months old cat. And we recently got a puppy. Their
introductions went well, and no hisses, growls, barking from any side.
They normally sniff each other and run after each other. Our cat is
10.6 lbs and puppy(shitzu mix) is just 4 lbs. Most of the time play
Molting Cat03 Apr 2006 03:04 GMT2
A cat has been making appearances in my yard who is missing a lot of
fur.  There's a large patch on his back where too much bare skin is
showing.  The skin looks healthy, the cat seems ok.  I trapped him, he
isn't feral, doesn't have fleas.  Any likely causes of the hair loss?

Our kitten, a fussy eater02 Apr 2006 06:12 GMT9
I was hopiong to get some advice on feeding our little 9-week old
kitten. Emphasis on little, as she's the runt out of her litter. The
kind women that raised her (and her 3 sisters after finding the mom in
a dumpster) said she had already wheened herself off milk and was
(Very) Startling Cat Behavior (kinda long)02 Apr 2006 06:05 GMT9
First, let me reassure you that I'm not some icky troll.  I've posted
here a couple of times and have gotten some very helpful advice from
you folks.  However, my male, neutered, 4-year-old cat did something
today that startled the hell out of me.  Now, I'm in my 50's and have
Question about fur01 Apr 2006 22:59 GMT8
A few weeks ago, two cats came to the patio door. One is a ginger cat, quite
big and well fed looking, the other - who has the same kind of collar -
looked kind of skinny. They sat there staring in so I felt bad for them and
set out a dish of food. They gobbled it up in seconds ...
Caring for an 11 year old cat?01 Apr 2006 20:48 GMT16
I've recently acquired an 11 year old cat. I took him in because my
neighbors were moving and were going to dump him at the pound. Going
by dog years it seems like he's getting on a bit. Are there any health
issues I should be watching for? I've got a vet appointment scheduled
Cat born with balance problems01 Apr 2006 12:19 GMT8
Hi i have a 7 month old boy cat. He was born with a balance problem
given to him by his mother cat. At least thats what i was told when i
took him to the vet. The vet told me there was no cure. But i think he
may have been lying. He never gave me a name for the disease. Ive be
