Cat Cremation Urns10 Apr 2006 01:05 GMT22
For the past couple of years I have been trying to find a nice, elegant
urn for Kami's cremated remains when she goes.  What I have found is
either dull, cheesy, or too cutsie.  There was one porcelain urn that I
liked, but it's $277.  The first time I saw it, it was $165--maybe ...

Ruff turning gray09 Apr 2006 23:02 GMT1
My 9 yr old cat's ruff is suddenly turning gray.  This is
within a two week period.  Each day there's more gray.  Is this more
than old age?  He eats a lot but is scrawny.
Thanks,  Cath

intestinal lymphoma- treatment question09 Apr 2006 00:59 GMT1
My cat Charlie has been diagnosed with small cell, slow-growing
lymphoma throughout the small intestine and in the portal tracts of the
liver.    I've been given two basic options by our vet, a
gastroentestinal specialist.  One is chemo injection treatments to see
Phosphorus Binders08 Apr 2006 21:55 GMT46
I had Kami's blood checked yesterday and Dr. Tina called this afternoon
with results.  She wants to start Kami on a phos binder, and this one
will be a liquid.  I was wondering what anyone else's experience with
this is.  Apparently her Creat and BUN shot up, too (5.4 and 100
help please - perineal urethrostomy questions - LONG08 Apr 2006 19:43 GMT12
My male cat Ashley (will be 5 yrs old in May) got blocked a little over
2 weeks ago. Took him to the vet, he was cathetherized (sp?) and
unblocked, but the vet said they couldn't get whatever was blocking him
to come out - they just flushed it back into the bladder. The vet said
Question Regarding Adoption08 Apr 2006 16:35 GMT9
A friend of mine is looking for a good home for a cat she's been
fostering.  She has a prospective adopter.  I am wondering if anyone
who works in rescue or otherwise has a list of questions one would ask
a prospective adopter.  It seems to me that someone had posted such a
Update on old lady cat 08 Apr 2006 03:49 GMT2
A month or so ago I posted regarding our 17 year old who suddenly became
very wobbly and had trouble keeping her balance.  I promised several of you
that I would post back ... so here I am.
I'm pleased to report that she's made a 90% recovery, even though we don't
Cat heaving often07 Apr 2006 08:01 GMT17
I have a 5 year old B & W tabby that has been having problems with
throwing up several times a week.  It's as if it is bulimic.  She is a
house cat and never goes outside.  She was spayed at 1 year old or
thereabouts with no problems.  Otherwise she exhibits good health.
Fighting cats, horribly scared kitten07 Apr 2006 07:08 GMT6
I have 7 month old neutered male tabby, he's been spoiled ever since we got
him being treated like a child. We recently got a 12 week male un-neutered
kitten from a man who had been giving them away for free, who immediately ran
under our futon in the living room and has been hiding ...
