Giving medicine to fractious feline.14 Mar 2006 05:53 GMT1
My cat has been sneezing and having watery eyes, so I assume the poor
guy is feeling like a lot like his master with springtime allergies.
I called his vet, and they told me to dose him with half a benadryl
pill.  Now he hasn't had medication since he was a baby (8 years old

A friend came over and she owns about six cats and
was wearing a sweater. She and my cat were on the

I'm a first time cat owner owned by a wonderful male cat named Pete who

soft, runny stools for the last year or so.. so I'm somewhat concerned
What's coming next for aged cat?14 Mar 2006 02:22 GMT16
I have a 4 pound 17 year old indoor cat who, until two days ago, was in
great health for her age.
Then quite suddenly she started loosing her balance and falling over.  The
tipping action starts with her hind legs collapsing and then the rest of her
Bladder Problems?13 Mar 2006 23:31 GMT7
My cat has been acting funny the last few months. She meows quite often
for no reason- usually when she comes into a room. 2 months ago she
started to urinate on the floors or on piles of clothes/towels on the
floor. I've noticed that many times, whether she's outside or inside,
Proper use of catnip?13 Mar 2006 22:36 GMT15
I a confused about catnip basics: Is it used for aroma, or is it
something cats like to eat? In practice, do you sprinkle it over an
area for scent or offer a soonful to the cats in a plate?

Hello all, Our Brenda has started a  habit she licks the end of her

Poor little Jupiter, she gets into these bouts with Lucy, they are playing
and everybody's happy, the money is flowing in, and there's not a cloud on
the horizon.
but sooner or later, Lucy scratches the hell out of Jupiter.

Is Mary back?13 Mar 2006 18:29 GMT30
Remember Mary (not MaryL), nasty Mary who was forced to leave last year.
I suspect cybercat is really a reincarnation of Mary.  The same nasty
posts and the need to post as many times as possible.  Could it be?

Bringing 3 semi-feral cats indoors13 Mar 2006 15:13 GMT5
I have 3 semi-feral cats who have lived in a small shed for the past 5

concerned about bringing them indoors and the terror they will go

I have a year and half old neutered male cat.  He is incredibly
charming and also incredibly onery.  Here are my problems:  1. He won't
stay off the counters or stove.  (I'm afraid he'll run across the stove
when its hot and he'll burn his paws.) 2. He has a thing for lampshades
