damaged kidneys22 Mar 2006 18:49 GMT2
I've posted before about Isabelle's problems peeing outside the box from
time to time. Well she has been using the box since January when she was
given antibiotics. She was put on C/D food and the vet suggested we have a
urine test done after she had been on the Rx food for a ...
My cat's eye is hanging down on his cheek22 Mar 2006 16:08 GMT118
and his left front foot is missing. I don't know if it was caused by an
accident or a disease, but I can see bone and there is a lot of blood.
Anyone know what might have caused this problem? He doesn't seem
uncomfortable, but then, he is unconscious. I plan to take him to the vet
Male trying to be dominant?22 Mar 2006 06:45 GMT1
My big cuddly boy Rhett, 1-1/2 year old, came here with a litter
mate, a female, in Nov 2004. They were tiny kittens then. Now this
boy has grown much larger than the two older cats, and they play
really rough with each other. They all seem very evenly matched, and
bladder problems22 Mar 2006 06:34 GMT15
My 4 year year old female has had bladder problems (blood in urine) and
has been under vet care.  He wants her to eat canned food, but all she
wants is dry.  I feel so sorry for her.  Can anyone tell me what dry
food will help and what stores carry it?  Or is there some other way to
Sideways kitten22 Mar 2006 06:02 GMT6
Silly question methinks, but do cats ever grow out of that sideways
kitten run? I ask because none of my adult cats have ever done it.
However my "kitten" who is easly the size of a small serval, spends a
good part of the day crashing through the house sideways with his fur
Funny Cat Videos22 Mar 2006 05:07 GMT4
A friend sent me this.  I thought it was pretty funny, especially the
cat chasing the bear.

POLL:  Hairballs and Vomiteers - seriously.21 Mar 2006 22:19 GMT11
I'm curious now after that thread of Hairballs not being normal or
being normal.
Starting about 20 years ago I've had two cats all the time and three
for a short period. That totals six cats including my current Espy and

Methimazole question20 Mar 2006 08:53 GMT7
Hello everyone.  I've never posted here before but I was wondering if
there is an online site where I could purchase Methimazole for my cat.
Currently my vet is charging what I think is far too much ($60/100
pills) and I have found online sites where the drug can be purchased for ...
Fancy Feast dry?20 Mar 2006 04:45 GMT29
Apparently no one has posted about the new Fancy Feast dry cat food.
I guess it's new anyway. My cats like it. Anything known wrong with
it?
Thank you.
Fractured Leg20 Mar 2006 03:19 GMT15
Has anyone's cat here had a fractured leg? Cuz I think my cat Hemmy
might have fractured her front leg. She dos'nt walk around at all and
when she does she tries at all costs not to put any pressure on the
foot. She also has a cut on her foot. So at first I thought that was
Bird Flu and cat food19 Mar 2006 18:57 GMT3
Just wondering, as the bird flu is expected to be here about summer time,
how we can be sure cat food is safe, specially food with chicken in it?
Hopefully the pet food makers will take all the necessary precautions.
Behavior modification; cats and strangers19 Mar 2006 18:25 GMT18
Last year, this cat used to visit me regularly in late afternoon, eat
her favorite canned foods, watch tv, then leave.
During the winter a family emergency forced us to go overseas. We had
an apt-sitter, who I couldn't expect to be like me and who mostly left
compensating cat sitter19 Mar 2006 13:07 GMT4
My cat is currently boarding with her cat sitter.  She became ill and
had to be taken to the vet.  It turned out to be crystals and will need
further treatment while still under the cat sitter's care.
Of course, I am taking care of all the vet bills.  But I would also

My cat is about 12 years old, she has been in not great health as of
late, she ran away a while back and must have been trapped somehwere
for a quite a while, about a week. She finally made it home and she was
obviously starving, she was skin and bones.
