possible incontinence?09 Mar 2006 23:51 GMT7
Last week we discovered that one of our three cats had peed on the
bedspread. This has never happened before--none of our cats has ever
peed outside the litterbox. We are not sure who did it but it was a
large amount and it was in the spot that our oldest cat (just turned 9)

Diabetic Young Cat (Maybe)09 Mar 2006 05:34 GMT4
I noticed my 2 year old cat was drinking what I thought was a lot of
water (about 1 cup/day).  She otherwise seemed fine.  Eating OK, no
excess urine, happy.  I made an appt. with our vet and she did a serum
(blood) glucose and urine test. She had a 243 on the serum glucose and

We have a two year old cat called Charla who has been nursing her third
litter for the past eight weeks. There are six kittens this time, and
neither us nor her want any further babies! People are saying she looks
a little old cat, even though shes been well looked after - will ...
Help with pilling a cat08 Mar 2006 22:42 GMT11
Sasha has CRF and is doing well on fluids. Dr prescribed a medication
for her appetite this week because she is dropping weight because she
is not eating enough. My problem is if  she puts up a fuss and I don't
get the pill down the first time, she start salivating like crazy and
stray cat update--found owner!08 Mar 2006 15:11 GMT6
Thanks to everyone who wrote me words of encouragement during my recent
saga of the found orange kitty. The big news is: Today I successfully
located the owner! Kitty has just been returned to him... a nice man
who had only recently adopted the cat from Animal Care & Control and
Cat Puke08 Mar 2006 05:34 GMT3
Yes, my cat is a puker!  We have mixed breed long haired male cat that
was nuetered as a kitten.  We got him as a kitten and now that he is 2
years old he seems to be puking a lot.  We haven't changed his food or
anything.  The puke doesn't have hair in it.  It just looks like the

Advice needed: feral cat has adopted us08 Mar 2006 00:44 GMT1
An adorable young tom (apparently dumped in a field near our house) has
adopted us, snoozing on the verandah and enjoying the food we put out
for him daily but he won't let us closer than four or five feet. I'd
love to catch him, take him to the vet for his vasectomy and give him
Austrian cats get, then beat, bird flu; health experts plan for pandemic. 07 Mar 2006 16:57 GMT1

Another Cat07 Mar 2006 13:55 GMT2
I'm thinking of getting another cat as a companion to me and my 2 year old
male cat.  What would be better, a female or a male?  I have always been
partial to male cats.  I did have another male cat until recently and the
two got along okay.
Let me Sleep?!?07 Mar 2006 02:32 GMT3
I have a 11mth old tiger... She is a great loveable playful cat but lately
she has been waking up between 3am and 5am.  She meows and plays around in
the bedroom.  Playing in the trash, jumping on the dressers and knocking off
what ever she can...  I used to be able to close her out ...
need info07 Mar 2006 01:39 GMT1
The past couple of days my five year old female cat has had some blood
in her urine.  She has a vet appointment tommorrow.  Does this sound
like a urinary tract infection?  Any info as to the cause and treatment.
It seems like it's hard for her to pee and it is just a little puddle.
