Scottie's endoscopy...28 Feb 2006 20:50 GMT7
is tomorrow...wish him well.  Maybe it's a giant hairball, that would
be cool.  They don't show on x-rays.  He hasn't barfed one in ages and
he is a big hairball barfer so maybe that's it.  The vet never
mentioned that as a possibility but I was reading on the internet and
Random Attacks from the cat28 Feb 2006 20:07 GMT7
Just wanted to get an opinion and see if anyone else has experience
similar to what I am going through.
I had cats all my life. From early age, my parents being animal lovers
allowed me and my brother have pets. I really like having pets in my

You all might remember me posting about Koko and Kady, Koko with herpes
( maybe not ) and Kady the stray ( now she is a big girl).   Well, it

Messy Butt28 Feb 2006 17:23 GMT13
I took in a stray calico a few years ago.  Very timid cat.  She doesn't have
diarhea or anything but it just sticks to her fur.  Sometimes she has dry
knobs stuck to it.  She tends to smell bad.  The problem is that she goes
ballistic whenever I try to cut them off.  She also ...
Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA): Anyone Know Anything About It?28 Feb 2006 16:45 GMT2
Has anyone done any work with this association?
I do some volunteer work for an animal rescue organization, recognized as a
charity under law, blah blah. It provides labor for certain CFA shows, and
in return, CFA makes a nice charitable contribution and (truly) helps

I have a dog who has access to a fenced backyard through a pet door. I
recently got a 4 month old kitten. He gets along well with the dog, &
has been declawed & chipped. We want to keep him indoors but lately he
has figured out how to use the pet door & get out. We are afraid he

I have a 15 year old tabby called Rosie.  She is still very fit and
healthy and enjoys scratching anything that comes her way.  However,
over the past couple of months she has started to get her claws stuck
in clothing, carpets, etc. as she can't retract them properly.  She has
Has any one had a cat with blood in the stool?28 Feb 2006 15:52 GMT13
I have two Abysinnians, Tatoi and Chui.  They are sisters and both are
7 years old just this January.
In early February, Chui had bright red drops in her stool one morning.
I was so shocked, I called my vet who told me to bring her in that
Abbie's War Against the Water Dish28 Feb 2006 15:09 GMT7
Folks:
We have an inexplicable Abbie the Cat problem. She is constantly
pushing her water bowl around the kitchen. I have tried putting the
water in different containers, plastic, big and little cereal bowls and
should we kill all our pet cats coz of asian flu?28 Feb 2006 02:12 GMT10
if we're gonna be receiving loads of birds with asian flu, and if cats
love to bite, munch, hunt and haunt birds, then 2 and 3 equals 5,
therefore our cats are very likely to get asian flu, which means that
all those grandmas with cats will catch it too and drop dead which is

I have had my cat declawed when he was 6 months old, along with having
him 'fixed'.  My mother with her cat as well.  I have never had any
behavioral problems with my cat due to these procedures.  I don't think
declawing is any more inhumane than the amputating of dog tails and

Before commercial cat food.....27 Feb 2006 02:22 GMT297
Please help my research for cat food.   Before lots of people started
feeding their cat commercial cat food, (crunchy type or canned food)
what were they feeding their cat?
Is there such a thing like a traditional "home made" cat food?
