Laxatone, too much of a good thing?06 Jan 2006 04:39 GMT5
Hi Group,
You may remember my "Little Darkie", he had a cough which turned out to
be from mold alergy. As part of the diagnosis path we tried laxatone
for possible hair ball coughing, at first he did not like it but he
Bladder infection - Kindly help06 Jan 2006 03:51 GMT7
I have a 2 ½ year old male cat who is experiencing problems to urinate due to
an infection. Obviously I went to the VET and he applied the cutiter (sorry
my English; a thin tube which sucks liquid from the cat’s bladder I imagine).
When the VET sucked the urine it was dark yellow ...
Kami Expresses her Annoyance06 Jan 2006 01:08 GMT6
I dropped Kami off at the vet this morning so she could get a check-up,
have blood tests, and wait for the carpet at home to be cleaned.  When
I went to pick her up, I waited an incredibly long time and we joked
about the fight to put her in the carrier.
The best cat treat ever!05 Jan 2006 19:47 GMT1
I recently purchased an experimental item at my local Asian food mart -
they are "dried shrimp." They're basically baby shrimp which are dried
but NOT freeze-dried like cat treat shrimp usually are. They need to be
stored in the fridge once opened (they come vacuum packed in the ...

Tweaker loves company05 Jan 2006 00:11 GMT3
Tonight my tenants' daughter came up to play a game on my computer,
and she brought her dogs with her, Joey and Chuck.  Tweaker was
delighted, and I took a picture of the kid and animals all hanging out
together...

Bubbles flew the coop!04 Jan 2006 22:07 GMT6
Our latest household addition, Bubbles, seems to prefer rejoining the great
outdoors. Bubbles is about 8 months old and was one of 4 kittens born to a
semi-feral mom under our home. As the months went by, he more than the
others seemed interested in what went on in the house. ...
Anyone hear the story of the gigantic Outback feral cats?04 Jan 2006 21:34 GMT14
I've been trying to figure out how to search for this story, since I
only remember a few details.
Apparently someone shot a "big cat" in the Outback (or possibly New
Zealand), and returned with the tail, which was, iirc, 26 inches long.
Fishers04 Jan 2006 19:02 GMT2
The latest Old Farmer's Almanac has an article about Fishers complete
with a picture.  No housecat could survive an encounter with one of
them.  That is why I keep Tiger and Amber inside.

The Short Hairs04 Jan 2006 17:29 GMT2
I awoke this morning to the smell of cat sh.t.  It wasn't from the
litter box in the bathroom, either, but from the cat who'd just joined
me in bed with a turd woven into his butt hair.  As disgusting as that
was, it was even more disgusting to realize that in a few hours, that
cat aggressive, may be in heat?04 Jan 2006 14:38 GMT5
Can anyone tell me if females in heat become more aggressive?  I'm
taking care of a 1yr old female whose spay status is unknown...  She
came to me 2 months ago starving thin and has been gaining weight.
This week she has been *very* vocal, energetic, and playful, but during
Cat diarrhea - Tylan and/or Biosol04 Jan 2006 14:37 GMT3
I have two sphynx kittens (7 months).  The male has chronic loose stool
regardless of what food I have fed him.  The female has been fine since
I started feeding them Nutro Natural Care.  They both had CBCs and
everything is normal.
