What's wrong Daddy bust that cherry? Mamma didn't care? Now you're sitting up on FREAKNET smelling like a skunk.

| indoor only cat person? what would you do for a stray? | 11 Dec 2005 15:11 GMT | 3 |
I've always thought that keeping a cat indoors is the only way to go, and I've always taken them off of the street. But then I see cats outside being allowed to have litters destined for the same ill fate of being mishandled and killed/dead after a short miserable

| Whisker Positions? | 11 Dec 2005 12:25 GMT | 2 |
I was wondering if there is any definitive meaning in the way cats hold their whiskers. Kami spent the evening with them forward and down, and later pulled back and down. I know she was feeling spunky before, and content later, but I don't know if there is a correlation between ...

| Pepcid for cats? | 11 Dec 2005 03:26 GMT | 15 |
My son's girlfriend's cat had a case of the pukes (on a Saturday night of course - I think our cats prefer the emergency clinic to our regular vet). We took her to the clinic, which did a blood test, physical exam of the mouth and throat, and took xrays.

| Annual flu-enteritus vacs - necessary? | 10 Dec 2005 22:53 GMT | 2 |
Our vet seems to have boosted the price of the annual flu-enteritus feline vaccination boosters this year by quite a large amount. Unfortunately, there are only two vets within a 30-mile radius. But while I am angry that he seems to be making a packet out of the annual

| Mousetraps--They Work | 10 Dec 2005 15:53 GMT | 50 |
I have found out--mousetraps WORK for keeping cats off of things & places you don't want them. And it doesn't seem to hurt them. Two kittens we have seemed totally stubborn & determined to keep hopping onto the kitchen table. We put 8 mousetraps at various spots--including

| Calicos mentally unstable? | 10 Dec 2005 01:02 GMT | 12 |
Another urban myth, possibly. Our new cat has reached equilibrium with the other feline residents. However, she does tend to flip out with no provocation. I've recently been hearing from friends that "yeah, calicos are often

| Wanted - a SOFT microwaveable heater pad for cat bed. | 09 Dec 2005 19:27 GMT | 6 |
I've tried two of these lately and returned them as my cat simply refused to use her bed whilst it was there. The first was a microwaveable 'wheatbag' which actually did smell horrid and felt damp - the second was the Snugglesafe - a round hard disc shaped thing

| One of God's Screechers | 09 Dec 2005 17:08 GMT | 7 |
Once my Bengal got a taste for going outside on a leash, he really wants be outside. Now he spends a good deal of his time yowling about it. Ok he yowls about other things too. It is becoming very problematic. Has anyone out there ever effectively trained a cat to shut the hell ...

| Is this healthy for cat | 09 Dec 2005 16:35 GMT | 19 |
We have a pet cat and he seems healthy enough not overweight or anything. The cat is 6 years old. Winter is approaching and we generally let him sleep in the garage rather than the house, he has some old blankets that he curls up in and seems happy
