IAMS cat foods20 Dec 2005 02:30 GMT8
I picked up a small bag this afternoon of the new IAMS Multi-cat
formula.  The ads I've seen say it's going to do the same things my
current combination of weight-control and hairball formula foods do.
Before I start phasing this stuff in, I thought I'd ask what folks

I had a 'good' look around his pads/ foot/claws/ leg /shoulder, He started
limping Friday night and I thought it would get better.  I took him to vet
first thing today. Vet did what I did, he looked at the pads moved his leg
Dammit Spot, QUIT IT!19 Dec 2005 17:27 GMT3
Up early on a Sunday for good reason? Noooooo. Not me. My boy Spot has been
unusually mischievious the past few days and saw fit to awaken me at 6am
purring, slobbering in, and biting my ear. He had been in earlier, burrowed
under the blankets, and laid down face to face with me ...
Our cat is sick of us19 Dec 2005 14:29 GMT8
Any advice is appreciated.
My partner and I adopted two Katrina refugee cats about 3 months ago.
They both entered the house at the same time. We don't have any other
animals. Our beloved elderly cat died last April.
Loss of appetite19 Dec 2005 05:39 GMT7
My 7 year old neutered longhair male tabby Sasha has suddenly lost his
appetite. He has been an indoor cat all his life. Sasha is normally a
ravenous eater and eats dry kibble throughout the day and 1/2 a can of
Fancy Feast in the morning and at night. Recently he won't eat any
Looking for statistics with regard to overpopulation and spay/neuter19 Dec 2005 05:23 GMT3
I know I've been quiet a lot lately, but I'm hoping somebody here can
point me to some good sources of information.
I have a co-worker who needs some serious educating.
He's 21, and both he and his mother work at the same store where I
Christmas gifts from the cats?18 Dec 2005 19:11 GMT3
My wife's cats, Sugar and Spice, seem to have gotten into the Christmas
spitit.  About a week after we had put up our Christmas tree we noticed
that one of my wife's chough drops has appeared under the tree.  It's
wrapped in protective covering from the factory, so we had a good ...

strange bumpy spot on cats thigh18 Dec 2005 11:58 GMT7
While brushing my cat, I detected a small bumpy spot on her rear leg. It
doesn't seem to be painful and is about the size of a pea. There is no
discoloration. Should I be concerned?

toileting problem18 Dec 2005 11:04 GMT5
My cat is from a shelter and has been caged for 2 yrs. I don't know if that
has anything to do with this, but I've noticed that she has feces stuck to
her rear end hair, dryed and caked on. It's gross, and I don't know what to
do about it. Has anyone else had this problem. I've ...
Looking for weight scale18 Dec 2005 03:25 GMT2
Looking on line at Sears site, and see  Conair digital bath type scale that
measures in .1 lbs. It's only $65.00. Is this accurate enough for a cat's
weight watching? I have seen others that weigh in .2 lbs.
Why does Tiger do this?18 Dec 2005 02:16 GMT4
Tiger has a toy box (see photo).  There are three "basket" type toys -
the two in the box are like new.  The one outisde the box (lower right)
is beat up, and squashed from being stepped on.  Guess which one Tiger
chooses to bring to me to play fetch?  Thats right - the beat up one.
