Suggestions for window blinds that cats can't break?20 Nov 2005 14:17 GMT14
I use vinyl window blinds along with curtains because I like the night
privacy they afford. (I'm not into big, heavy lined drapes; I prefer
airier, lighter curtains) Jasmine has torn up three so far (lol) because
she likes to look out the window. (Dmitri always did this too) She ...
Feline Panleukopenia ? - a little long20 Nov 2005 11:04 GMT5
I heard yesterday that another foster home has 2 kittens with Penleukopenia.
Well to be accurate, one has tested positive and the other was too small to
get sufficient blood to test but has the same symptoms as the cat who was
tested. The older kitten is about 12 weeks the ...

Hi, I joined this site to ask some advice as I cannot sleep because my poor
rescue kitty is sick.
He is about 1 yr old or less and I've had him for about 4 or 5 months after
finding him by the side of the road. He has received all shots up to date and
Any good vets in the (North-) West Houston area?20 Nov 2005 05:37 GMT6
I will soon be relocating to the north-west Houston area - zip 77084,
near Bear Creek Park and east of Katy for those familiar with the area.
Off route 6, north of 10 and south of 290.  More west than north I
suppose.

Bah. Ringo's dead19 Nov 2005 02:15 GMT7
Well, I did my best. I couldn't coax him close enough to tag him again
or take him to the vet. The weather got cold, and he must've just run
out of food and water. Maybe it was FIV.
I'm so damn angry. Who let their un-fixed cats out to give birth to

leather sofas as attractive to cats?18 Nov 2005 23:55 GMT19
I am replacing my sofas and I want a general concensus. I know that cats
claw fabric sofas; but in your experiences' do they (in general) claw

Kitten stopped burying stools?18 Nov 2005 20:36 GMT18
My eleven week old kitten stopped burying her stools two days ago. There
is nothing notable in them and I haven't a clue why. She just digs a hole,
has her movement, and then moves on. She still covers her urine.
Any ideas? She was doing fine from the day I got her at six weeks.
Cats and Appetite Loss18 Nov 2005 15:25 GMT7
My ten year old, Angel, had recently been vomiting, lost alot of weight, etc.
From experience with previous cats I concluded that she was either suffering
from CRF or hyperthyroid.  I gave her a tiny bit of a Xanax pill and the
vomiting stopped and it also gave her a tremendous ...

Question about fasting. When you fast a cat for 24 hours, when (after the
last meal does that being)? More specifically, I feel my cat twice a day
6am/pm, his last meal was 6pm, do I wait til next next morning to feed him
or can I feed him sometime after 6pm the next day?
