Boots, my 5 month old kitten liked to go outside in the evening to
chase bugs and stuff, he would come in and out about every half hour
with stories to tell.  Five days ago he went out and didn't do his

URI in kittens and Moms18 Oct 2005 16:11 GMT4
We're having a time of it with litters of kittens this spring. I just got
the second litter last night that came down with URI. In both cases we had
trapped the moms a few weeks before delivery and the kittens were born
inside where there were no other cats with URI and the mom and ...
Cat Cruelty - sorry, using rpchb as a support group again...18 Oct 2005 12:09 GMT28
Well, now I know why my son's always been indifferent towards cats.
A couple days ago, he told my wife about a time he was visiting her
folks in rural Indiana as a toddler. A cousin showed him a kitten and
got him really interested in it. Then he tossed it to a pair of dogs
Asthma treatment questions18 Oct 2005 05:26 GMT4
It looks like my cat Gypsy might have asthma. Her symptoms are a
constant cough, labored breathing (crinkly sounds in her lungs). We had
her on antibiotics and that helped a bit but not much. We've also had
blood work done and ruled out worms. On Friday she's having and echo to
Tweaker is getting FAT18 Oct 2005 04:22 GMT8
He is always pestering me for more food, and once in awhile he gets
into the dog's food and pigs out on that to the point where he pukes.
He looks healthy and plump now, but if the trend continues, I will
have to put him on a diet.

Is it possible to buy pawcuffs to stop cat jumping on to kitchen work
surfaces to eat scraps of meat etc? Would putting pawcuffs on puss be
considered cruel?

Jasmine's pregnancy (again)17 Oct 2005 03:21 GMT4
Hi everyone. Jasmine is due any day now. I have found people willing to take
kittens, have set up a room for her and the kittens, and the local shelter
is giving out half price desexing vouchers, so I will get them to do her
desex. In the meantime, she is getting bigger every day ...
Abrupt changes in urination pattern16 Oct 2005 16:25 GMT6
My 2 ½ year old, spayed, female cat has claim ME and my personal spac

Smoke Likes Her Stone16 Oct 2005 03:51 GMT10
Our kitten, Smoke, has a few odd quirks, as I'm sure most kittens and
cats do.  However, this one is truly weird.  We have a flat stone,
which we picked up on the shore of Lake Ontario.  Smoke goes over to
the stone and either rests her front paws on it, sits on it as though
