| Help with Lattice Balls? | 28 Oct 2005 22:59 GMT | 21 |
One of my two cats, Bebop, loves to play with lattice balls. (See http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000633ROW/002-2987693-6220846?v=glance) if you're not sure what a "lattice ball" is.) I have two related problems:

| Another trip to the ER | 28 Oct 2005 22:49 GMT | 106 |
Poor Kami, every say "awwwww." I got home yesterday and found her scrunched up under the desk and practically screaming. I thought maybe she had injured herself, but then I could see she was clamping at the tail end. And she's never done this before--ever--but she

| Tortie | 28 Oct 2005 20:12 GMT | 2 |
One of my ex-roommates (college days) was in town, and so we walked around the neighbourhood, including the old street. We were standing there commenting on how the building hasn't changed, etc., when a big, bushy-tailed, thick-haired tortoiseshell strolled up to me. I couldn't

| Question about cat behaviour | 28 Oct 2005 19:44 GMT | 14 |
A quick question... we've been living with a cat for the last five months (he's nine months old now). He has quite a few toys, his favourite being a plush mouse that's tied to a 2-feet-long piece of string (so that we can pull it around).

| jasmine's dirty bum | 28 Oct 2005 15:12 GMT | 13 |
Hi all...more jasmine questions and thanks for your patience. Jasmine has had a really dirty rear end lately; not feces sticking to her, just black dust, I'm supposing from the litter. I use a litter made from plant material, it is dark green and smells like grass, and it appears to ...

| Calcium Oxalate stone - can't remove | 28 Oct 2005 09:50 GMT | 11 |
The vet told me that my cat has a calcium oxalate stone but that it's located in a place where they cannot perform surgery. They're just gonna have to wait and see what happens with it and keep an eye on it. I can't remember the location of the stone but I think it was above or

| Q for PhilP re: cat shelves | 27 Oct 2005 17:28 GMT | 8 |
Hey Phil, I'm going to go to Lowes either tomorrow or Friday to get a sheet of MDF (3/4 inch) for another project I'm doing (building a desk). The sheet they have is 4' by 8' so I'll have a lot of MDF left over.

I am still having "out of the box" problems with my cat(s). Only now it's turned into being a problem with 2 of 3 cats. (No, there are no health problems involved.) I came across some litter yesterday called "Cat Attract." The label says

| Behaviour changes (good) | 26 Oct 2005 00:03 GMT | 6 |
A few months ago, I posted that our older of two cats - Delilah - was finally comfortable with us putting her on the sofa. We feel she was abused before and sofas were off limits. Finally again this week, she is getting up on her own as soon as one of us sits down and will settle

| Cold feet and ears - is this a concern? | 25 Oct 2005 23:31 GMT | 3 |
Jasmine (about 5-6 months old) seems to have cold feet pads and ears. I've noticed it a few times, and just checked Jack's feet and ears, and his are warm. So I don't think I'm keeping the house too cold. I just can't recall a cat having cold feet and ears before...is this a
