Such cruel rescuers!!! I'm disgusted!!!07 Sep 2005 14:00 GMT2
I am so bothered by what I just saw on Insider Edition tonight. A
rescue boat was going around looking for people. They were out for
hours and couldn't find anyone. There was a dog howver who quickly
dived into the water and swam to the boat, he looked so tired, no dry
Inappropriate Cat Poop07 Sep 2005 04:43 GMT6
99% of the time Mico is fine.  But rarely (once every 5 months or so), Mico
will leave me a present in an awkward place.  This morning I came in the
bathroom to find one piece of poop on the bathroom mat, with the others ON
TOP of the newly filled litter in his box.  He didn't even ...

Which Type of Cat Carrier is Best?06 Sep 2005 20:49 GMT10
I like the plastic crate because it's sturdy, but I just saw one that's made
of sturdy fabric which is cheaper, and hangs over the shoulder.   It's nice
in colour, and because space is limited I can just fold it wherever I want.
But I think maybe I should go with the crate because ...

Don't see the other Barb anymore so I'm going to try to get rid of the "from

Animal welfare groups rescue abandoned pets06 Sep 2005 07:05 GMT5
This article says that animal welfare groups -- previously barred from

CHLORPHENIRAMINE (Chlortrimeton) for Cats?06 Sep 2005 02:47 GMT9
My cat Noodles has asthma an allergies to various things.
She gets steroid shots at long intervals, and I take the
usual precautions by keeping the windows closed, air filters
on, duct vacuumed, etc. We have identified foods that cause
Cats belly hanging...05 Sep 2005 21:12 GMT7
I think my cat needs a tummy tuck...lol! I think it's a male cat, and
it's been neutered. He was left by someone who never came back for him.
He's a big cat at 16 lbs. He doesn't seem overweight, athough he's
always eating. His stomach though seems flabby, and seems to hang. He's

Cats and bread05 Sep 2005 16:00 GMT10
Apparently cats don't have a conventional sweet tooth (although I've
seen cats that definitely like sweets), but I've noticed many cats seem
to have a weakness for bread. When my friend brought me Irish soda bread
and I didn't put it away right away, Hodge ate half the loaf. To ...

A few years ago, 18 pound indoor tabby developed a "rasberry" on
his chin, perhaps from rubbing on the edge of the fridge door
expecting the roast chicken bits to appear.  He gets his usual
